i honestly feel that depending on the spot we pick we might go Safety....its top 10 we will go saftey for the best hotshot out there whoever that may be..(ofcourse we wont reach), It wont Be Cornerback, Because we have enough young guns in the pool that we can go for corner at 3rd or 4th round pick and they will, People are so obsessed with Feeley not panning out that we go QB in the first round...NO it wont happen. DT one of our future DT's is Manuel Wrights...we wont go for a first round for DT, We might actually go Outside Linebacker for a Big Bruiser than can rush the QB or we might actually go LT.

I am keeping in mind that though the best tallent comes from the first rounds...you do get steals in later rounds...or good picks that can be great players with the right leadership. So we can get JT's future replacement in the later rounds, and another CB IF necessary, WE WONT GO QB in the first round....unless AJ has a TERRIBLE season...he plays DECENT, we wont go looking for the next Dan Marino for a couple of years

so my guesses are Official....LT or S

I dont like Lineharts attitude, he is a great young QB and i dont think that Pete Carrol has anything more to teach him...i feel that he likes to stick with what wins instead of going on a suck team and having them build around him(meaning that the team will be bad for a couple of years)...we all said before he has ELI syndrome

If the Dolphins pick in the top 10 and aren't going to reach, it's highly unlikely that they'd go S. If they did, it would be only the 3rd time in the past 15 years a safety went in the first 10 picks. Safety very likely will be a need, but it's much more likely to be one filled in the 2nd or 3rd. It's true that safety has broken away from positions like P, K, and FB and is occasionally a decent first round pick, but it still isn't a very common one.

It's early to know what's coming out next year, so all we really know is what happened. If you want to use the most optimistic view that Roy Williams changed something about safeties, there would still only be a 50% chance of there being a top 10 safety (2 out of the last 4 years). That's not good odds compared to other positions that actually have multiple selections in the top 10 of drafts many years.

Also...do you really think teams would draft Sean Taylor where the Redskins took him knowing how he'd turn out? I think he has messed things up for players at his position from a pure on the field perspective. He hit really hard when he was focused, but he was no Roy Williams. Sure, a lot of that was off the field stuff -- it's still not what the safety position needed out of the second guy in over 10 years to get picked high.

I agree.....odds are that a S won't be taken in the top 20 picks even...

I still say we need another (young) DT stud to go beside Wright in the coming years....
