Mr. Ross GM Statement

 So all the whining, complaining and doomsday talk was for nothing.

Lesson to all that you should wait to see what happens instead of gobbling up everything the media writes and tweets. Have to learn to take things with a grain of salt, not everything is fact.

According to a report she ratted out Jeff to Joe -> so is she the new office mascot with a long thin tail....

Ireland tried to get her fired. He degraded Philbin in front of others behind Philbin's back. Aponte just mentioned that to Philbin. Ireland gone. End of story.

I am absolutely shocked that people find it ok that Ireland trashed on Philbin in front of others but never talked to Philbin about it.

Oh just wait. They will find something else.

I can not believe that I am so critical of Ross over the years that I actually had to defend him the last few days.

just wondering what all the hand-wringers will be warning us about now...

It's exactly what some of us have been trying to get across. Each of the Dolphin trinity will have autonomous authority reporting directly to Ross but not having power over the other. Each have specific roles to achieve one goal of winning again. It's called team leadership.

Hmm, so Coach Philbin and company are in charge of finding the OC and not the new GM?

Well unless the GM's name is Jerry Jones it's never been the responsibility of the GM to hire the head coaches assistants. That responsibility falls on the HC and has always fallen on the HC.

When will people learn that these guys reporting Mando and co are making **** up I've seen this happen every year, and the guys that bad mouth Ross the self made BILLIONAIRE calling him stupid these ****ing clerks have no ****ing clue, NO ****ING CLUE this guy pays a billion of his cash for the Fins and he is suppose to be a moron.
Get the **** out of here

Key word: the GM will be autonomous and report directly to Ross.

Good. I guess we can thank Jeff and Armando for the fact that he actually had to issue a statement on this.

If you eat a bad burrito, sometimes it takes several ****s to get rid of it.

That's the lesson I'm taking from this.

So everyone that was pi**in and moaning today can be forgotten right? We can stop the overreaction posts quoting those scrubs Salguero and La Canfanora. No more crying that Aponte will have all this power? Shucks.

Hope Fritz Pollard Alliance is happy now

from the sounds of everything, Ross had to make the statement because it wasn't quite clear to some candidates what they're roles would be.

And in the end the GM will be like any other GM in the league

But it's still a forced marriage were no good gm will want to come.

I don't think so. It essentially gives the new GM a "free pass" for a year and two shots at finding a good coach. The first year he has Philbin, and if it works....great. If not, he blames the year on Philbin, fires his ass, and hires who he wants. The guy only has to keep Philbin for a year...

Yes I get it, I was mocking Hayden Fox.
