I was wondering how this was going to work out, when Nick brought Randy:beerbang: on board. Nick knows the college talent now, and Randy knows the existing players in the NFL, and if my memory serves me correct the Saints had some good drafts under him. I don't know much about the CB Richard from the Seahawks, but I like the combo of Mueller, and Saban, because if there is a need, or a situation that needs to be addressed, they are on it! I like that aggressiveness!

This is off topic for this tread, but i want to share it. My computer just blocked a Trojan Horse Virus, so Fellow Fin Fans please beware!

Yup.

We all hope they can be the next Belichick/Pioli combo.

This is also off-topic. This post is for you DD28. I know how much you like to see my avatar. ;)

funny when wanstadt and spielman did that everyone said they acted in haste, but Saban does it and its great talk about your double standard.

Ya Im likeing the combo. I dont know how many more years Saban will have the nohow of college players though. Either way alot better combo then what we had.

But where do you see us overpaying for these moves? That's the quandary we had with the previous regime.

I am not Saying Nick, and Randy have made stellar moves, but they seem to be in sink early on, and that is great for our future success. Only time will tell on there moves, but these two have something that Wanny, and Rick didn't, players want to come to Miami to play now. Now they just have to get the Brown deal done. Just trying to point out what I see is a positive for the re-vamped organization!:beerbang:

True but that is a different topic. my point was when wanstadt acted fast it was a bad thing he should have waited to see what was out there. when Saban acts fast it's the greatest thing in the world. also i would say Feeley was the main player they overpaid for. i thought getting Gordon with a 3rd was a good move considering our situation last year. you never give up on season that early on.

Do you want Wanny and Rick back?

i never wanted wanstadt in the first place. i think speilman got an unfair deal. he brought in good players he just didn't know how to bargin and that is something he could have learned.
