Some of the so-called anonymous experts appear to have written Ja'Wuan off as being inferior. Dennis Hickey and the Dolphin evaluators must clearly see something they really like. We need to make our decisions based on what we see. Hickey has been evaluating football talent for a very long time and so have our scouts. We move forward based on the decision made and should not be afraid if we gave James a higher grade than others. It may be the right answer for the Dolphins.
In the words of the great American poet, Robert Frost - "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I —
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference".
What I'm saying is that we should not be afraid to have a different grade on the player. Ja'Wuan is the guy we wanted in a position of need. Full marks to Hickey for making a tough call. The easy answer would have been to draft a WR or DB with a high grade and hope for the best, re James being available in a later round. It might have worked but we will never know. Let's be open enough to give the player a go.
