Multiple Teams: Dolphins Made a "Mega Reach" with JaWuan James

Unless you name the 5 teams it doesn't mean a thing to me cause 3 of them were probably the bills, jets and the pats which you expect to trash our pics
 
With the way our OL was last year, at this point, if the dude can play and I don't have to worry about RT, I don't give a crap where he was drafted. Our OL wasn't just a glaring hole that needed to be fixed, it was a friggin sink hole that consumed our entire offense.

Travis Frederick was a 3rd round grade last year and the Cowboys got lit up for taking him in the 1st and now the look like geniouses. If he was the highest rated player you take the guy and care less what anyone thinks. People say they should have traded back, bit it was only reported that they received a couple calls, we never knew if they got offers.

I would much rather take a true 4 year starter at RT them convert a guy from LT. I just don't get why people flip **** over taking a guy 15 picks early in a deep draft.....

That's just it you are not supposed to hope a 19 th picked OT can play... AT&T 19 you got to know..... Hickey reached in a big way... Typical what he did in TB.

Because every 1st round OT pick has been able to play in this league right....right. Ask the Rams how Jason Smith at #2 overall worked out. You guys need to realize that we picked in the bottom part of the 1st round and there was a big drop off after the 1st 4 tackles. Mosley and Shazier were also off the board at LB and we probably didn't want to give up our 2nd round pick to move up. Literally every top player we talked about was taken, this is a much better pick then a Stiff Moses or injured Cyrus. Yes we could have taken Pryor from Louisville, but our OL was so freaking bad that we needed a RT which in my opinion is just as important as LT in todays league.

I personally Love this draft so far....Getting Turner in the 3rd was huge and I love the WR that we picked up in the 2nd.

Remember we were one of the top rated drafts last year and free agency and look how well that worked out for us. Let this play our before you continually bitch for the next 4 months.

He was not the gm in Tampa so what they did was not typical of Hickey.

the cards got a worse grade than the fins did and yet where are the stories of teams being quoted as them making a "mega-reach"

eagles and pats also reached but yet they dont get nearly enough criticism as miami.

Bucannon was a great pick and value for the Cardinals. Fans just didn't know about him.
 
We picked him. The only thing I care about now is that he earn the pick.
 
Bottomline...if James becomes a top right tackle Hickey looks good....if he's mediocre he'll look bad.

It was a reach..Morgan Moses was there at 50....We could have had a Brandin Cooks, Ha Ha Clinton Dix, Dennard or Roby and still Moses in round 2 and a guard in round 3.

Or we could have traded down and probably still got James and we would have 4 picks after two days versus 3.

Hopefully it all works out...I'm tired of this organization making mistakes.
