Just put the Phillies in the spot occupied by the Muts and you will be correct.

theres no way the red sox finish ahead of the blue jays.

Mets winning the World Series? That isn't happening...

I think the Braves win the NL East, I don't think I can bet against them because they always seem to get the job done untill the postseason. I would have Cardinals ahead of Cubs and Astros, and Giants and Padres ahead of Dodgers. Playoffs are all about pitching and I like the Chisox chances vs anybody in baseball. The one team that always seems to give them trouble is Oakland though, so if anybody knocks them off I think it'll be the A's

Everyone is picking the Jays over the Sox.. Just remember that without Schilling or Foulke last year we won 95 games and the Jays just 80... Both teams got better in the offseason but did the Jays really get 15 games better with the additions of Ryan, Burnett, Glaus, Overbay.. I will believe it when I see it..

I'm picking the Mets last in the NL East.

Not because I really believe that, but because I believe my baseball predictions are eternally cursed and doomed to have the exact opposite come true. I'm like the character Mush in "A Bronx Tale".

Incidentally, on a totally unrelated note, I'm picking the Yankees over the Braves in the World Series.

Not a lot of love for my Halos guys, that's ok.We shall see,we shall see.We own Oakland( last couple of years sorry Unified )the West is ours book it.

NO WAY NJ!!!!! Didn't you hear we fired our GM, Ed Wade? He was the one who lost Scott Rolen to the Cardinals, and made countless other stupid trades.....Wade is the Wanny/Speilman of Baseball GM's. :tantrum:

Agreed, like you said I'll believe it when I see it. Don't get me wrong I think the Jays are a very good team (in fact I actually think that they'll be in first place for the 1st half of the year ala the O's last year) but I don't think they're overall better than the Red Sox or Yankees.

switch spots with the mets and the marlins :D
