2006 Final Standings...

AL East:

New York Yankees
Boston Red Sox
Toronto Blue Jays
Tampa Bay Devil Rays
Baltimore Orioles

AL Central:

Chicago White Sox
Cleveland Indians
Detroit Tigers
Minnesota Twins
Kansas City Royals

AL West:

Oakland Athletics
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, California U.S.A, Planet Earth (wild card)
Texas Rangers
Seattle Mariners

I expect the wild card spot to come down to the very end this year with a few teams fighting for it...including Boston. In the end...the Angels get the final spot.

NL East:

New York Mets
Philadelphia Phillies
Atlanta Braves
Washington Nationals
Florida Marlins

NL Central:

Houston Astros
Chicago Cubs (wild card)
St. Louis Cardinals
Milwaukee Brewers
Pittsburgh Pirates
Cincinnati Reds

NL West:

Los Angeles Dodgers
San Diego Padres
San Francisco Giants
Arizona Diamondbacks
Colorado Rockies

PLAYOFFS:

White Sox over Angels
Yankees over Athletics
White Sox over Yankees

Mets over Cubs
Astros over Dodgers
Mets over Astros

WORLD SERIES:

Mets over White Sox

...feel free to bash away :D

Call me when the Mets get a starting rotation. And I mean a full one.
Pedro - Money. The toe is going to be an issue but hes looked like Pedro when hes thrown.
Glavine - coming off a great 2nd half where he relearned how to pitch inside again.
Trachsel - He is what he is. id feel better if we had a better #3 but I can live with 200 IP and a 4ish era which is what he usually gives.
Zambrano - Hate him more than any Met not just because we gave up Kazmir to get him but because he sucks. A candidate for: 14-12-4.25-170k's and the triple crown...Wild pitches, hit batters, walks.
Bannister - Crafty 25 year old rookie with 4 legit pitches (based on scouting and spring training anyway). Obviously has to prove himself but has both the work ethic and bloodlines (Son of former Orioles SP Floyd Bannister).

And uber-prospect Mike Pelfrey should be up by August at which point hopefully Zambrano will be moved to Iceland for extra pine tar.
