My 4000th post.....Olindo Mare has to go

There's no one out there better. He fell down on the FG kick.

Last season we:

lost 1 game by 1 pt
lost 2 games by 3 pts

Previous seasons will show other extremely close games.

FGs are pretty important. Mare isn't what he used to be but he is still better then most out there. I would have liked the Nugent pickup myself.....but the Jets taking him, in what the 2nd round I think...a bit high.

In that case, lets pay him millions more to miss 24% of chipshot FGs that should be made with ease.
 
:o That is your 4000th post? Could you not have chosen something more original? I have seen that post 6 times in the last 3 monthes. I am getting tired of it
 
Mares not bad, hes just overpaid. Its not easy to find good kickers, and until we do I dont think we can let him go.
 
Mare is a champ! Two yrs ago he was a NFL god! Now you sloppy non football knowing fans call for his head over a long kick? I'm ashamed! By the way i've been on many sites in the past yrs and thogh Finheaven is top knotch, i'm disgusted at the negativity over a early preseason game (one by the way, that is one week before all other teams ! Shame on us and you!:fire::fire::fire::fire:

I wholeheatedly second that DE- the Phailures suck. :D As far as the topic of conversation here with Mare- there is no one out there to replae Mare who's better. No one. And he's still better than most kickers even though he's not the old Olindo. We're not cutting him, so really, it's a moot point.

Maybe its time to be looking for a new kicker for next year, but dismissing Mare for the missed 54 yarder........Pulease! :shakeno:
 
unbelievable... when 'Lindo cooly nails yet another regular season game-winner, please chime back in...
 
Guys relax! he stumbled a bit and made a bad kick. it happens to everyone. He misses one kick from 54 yards and u want to run him out of town?? And he kicks the ball DEEP an kickoffs. We need all the help we can get. field postion is key!

And whos better thats available anyway?

We should have taken Nugent instead of Brown, becasue Nugent would already have been in camp. ;)
