I was born in Maryland and was a Baltimore Colts fan until the Dolphins came to town. So my favorite player of all time was Johnny Unitas and my favorite Dolphin player was Jake Scott.

Yeah mine too. There was just such a magic about the team, our chances, so many big games, great performances, special comeback wins, heartbreaking losses and the punch to the gut we felt when he ruptured the Achilles in what was turning out to be “our year” in the AFC anyway. Special time in team history - SB victory or not. I’ll always cherish it.

Dan’s the obvious answer but I loved Ricky. I just felt like that is how a running back should be. Punishing style. He would gain an extra 3 yards just by running over the defender. He wanted to initiate contact with the defenders and also had speed. Also shout out to Duper who I met a few times and was always super cool.

Marino got me into football. Hell, he got my family into football. For some reason though….. Otis James McDuffie has always been my guy. Gotta give a shout to Zach, JT, Sam/Pat , Ricky though.

It was Griese and Csonka that first grabbed my attention as a young Dolphins fan.
Loved watching Csonka run people over, the here we come stop it, physical mentality of that team.
