i wanted to upload some cool pics but i couldnt figure out how to upload them.

Here's everything that happened to me and my brother yesterday. I am 27 and my little brother is 20. I went to this game because i am home for the holiday in syracuse, ny and the game was blacked out in my area.

Read it or not, some of you will relate if you have ever been to orchard park

For those who have never been the Ralph, two words best describes my day yesterday- Frozen Hell- mind you during all of this- i was wearing a lot of dolphins gear-and jacked up...7th row end zone seats LETS GO!!! This has to be one of the toughest venues for an opposing fan to be. right off the bat two younger girls in front of us were turning around talking **** but i could tell they just wanted an excuse to get at us..she couldnt even name the bills starting QB. they ended up saying they respect us for showing up (let me tell you they were the ONLY ONES who did)

The day started off really good. Got to the stadium around 1145, went right down to the field to watch a few players warm up. Jared Odrick was out there punching the goal post, hes Huge..

I caught a game ball from who else but Dan Carpenter during warmups (kicked out the back of endzone and took a perfect bounce to my lap) security pressed me hard to give it back so i did. Those game balls are Rock Hard (yes, that is what she said)

Dion Jordan looks like the most physically gifted guy on our team up close. Him and Kiko talked briefly before the game and slapped up. The guys arms are as long as his body, and hes HUGE in height and strength. the guy is a gorilla (although would you rather have kiko?hm )

Brent grimes is smaller than me in height and weight (but definitely not in heart). Love that guy though.

Right when the bills came out the guy next to be starting going off on the bleachers, spillling my entire beer on the ground (hey man you owe me a beer.."spills happen, dolphin suck") . That would start off the **** show for the next 8 or so hours for me.

Many of their fans are just plain idiots (as im sure a lot of teams have idiot fans) but these guys are so fed up, bitter and pissed off that they just were trying to pick fights about everything. One guy had the NERVE to start sceaming "incognito" at me over and over again. Really ? thats reallly all you have to say right now? at one point i refused to speak when spoken to . I looked forward and ignored everyone and everything, even on the field.

This was clearly their superbowl, so i wont say anything else about the 27 or more arguments i had throughout the day that were started with me that quickly was able to end (mostly ending with an ugly bills fan drunk and blank stare). That being said, us dolphins fan stuck together through that ****. I met a ton of cool and intelligent fins fans and we tried to all band together in the hell hole we were in durning half time and timeouts.

GAME OBSERVATIONS FROM MY POV (which was about 10 yards from the endzoe boundry, 7 rows back)
I have yet to look at ANY stats from this game yet because everything about it makes me sick, so all of this is pure observation

It was colder, wetter, and windier then you could tell on TV. I could tell it was playing a huge factor in our offense.

Our offensive line didnt ever give us a chance to win this game. After the first 2 series i knew we were in serious trouble. Tannehill at a few points had less than a second to make a decision. backs i dont belive could of had more than 40 yards combined if that. You could tell they were just in a rut from the start. The bills knew damn well we werent running on them, and they unleashed hell on tannehill. Running backs missed blocking assignments more than a handful of times. All 5-6 times tannehill got sacked, i got bud light SACKED on my shoulders ...so as you guys were cozy at home pissed at our online, i was pissed at our Oline with beer being poured on me

Our defense for the most part hung in there until the end. I did notice from my POV that our linebackers dont take good angles to the ball, nor are they really any good at covering tight ends (insert Scott Chandler stats here)

Brian hartline dropped a few catches he normally makes...cold and wet conditions

they didnt give us brave dolphins fans a damn thing to cheer about. We had zero swag from the get go.

NOW FOR THE WORST PART OF MY DAY, and possibly my adult life
I left the ralph with about 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter. I told my little brother when we leave here, put your hood up, your head down, dont look or talk to anybody just keep walking. The walk from lower endzone up the stairs to the exit was a fury of cuss words, budlight, and shoulder bumps.

leaving the stadium we were forced out a different exit than we came in.

im not goin to lie i had a few beers flowing (brother was driving of course) we forgot where we parked the car, DAMN! we walked up and down abbot st 4 times (about .75 miles each direction) . This is actually a really scary thing when it happens to you, especially here in wonderful orchard park NY

Picture if you will ...being lost in a maze for 3 hours after a dolphins loss. Inside that maze, its cold, windy, grey, muddy, brown, rainy. You have timbs on that are a size too small...and walk i would estimate at Least 4 miles. Inside that maze is full of people trying as hard as they can to make your life miserable. name calling, bottle throwing , ice throwing. everything in the book. for 3 full hours we did not know what to do. for the first time in my life i didnt have a good solution to a problem so dire.

eventually we walked every road about half a mile away from the stadium and found a landmark that we recognized.

got in the car on the way back to Syracuse, about 40 miles out we hit stand still traffic. Cut off the engine for 30 minutes. A guy wearing an orange dolphins #80 jersey was in a 4 car accident to ice the cake. Hopefully everyone was OK. Saw a guy wearing a phins hat to my left, rolled my windows down and said "hey man , good to see you. Hope you are having a better day . " he says yea man actually the phins have a good shot at playoffs we just heard on the radio. I told him we would smoke the jets next weekend ( i really think they will use this game as motivation to beat them down) My phone was dead so i wasnt sure how true that was

I finally got home and realized that yes we did somehow end up OK even after that ****ty loss, i was sure we were doneZo and so did ALL the bills fans. I cant wait until they wake up in ****ty buffalo NY this morning, turn on sports center and see the phins in the wildcard spot. Realizing all they did was play out of a draft pick.

I had to go out and support my boys, but that may just be the last game i ever go to in Buffalo!

From those of us sitting comfortably at home complaining about the weather on TV, thanks for representing in the belly of the beast.

Sorry you had to go through all that and you saw a lousy game on top of that. Maybe it's for a reason. Maybe the Fins will make it into the playoffs to offset your misery for the day.

Lol..and when I tell people how really Crappy the weather was..they have say don't blame the cold. They have noooo..idea what they are talking about

also, i am not exactly freaking out about our team and trying to FIRE everyone.. because i was there. It was COLD AND WET and GUSTY.

If our players werent prepared for that type of weather, that is the exact type of game you will get, especially when a decent bills teams strength matches up against our biggest weakness.

Just ridiculous the way people are asking. 9-7 at worst, a banged up and god knows where OLine, playing against 4 probowlers in the gusty cold wind and raind.

We are going to smoke the jets, squeak into the playoffs ( dolphins fans have really good karma coming their way i promise) and beat the bengals at CIN...book it boys

did you really expect miami to go on a 6 game winning streak and continue that into the playoffs ? I am almost happy they got an embarrassing loss out of the way not and not in the playoffs. We will learn from this and come out jacked up next weekend. This bills team was in almost every game they played this year with a ****ty QB

That was like reading a great really short book.. Thanks for sharing. Glad you made it out alive..

Buffalo = the edge of the universe

I'll go to Metlife or Gillette stadium when I get the chance,Ralph Wilson I'll pass even with free tickets.

I went to a game in Buffalo about 12 years ago. Real similar experience minus the rain and getting lost trying to find the car. I actually went with a Bills fan so that helped.

I thought my experience was hell as I believe we scored all of 3 points that day. Mix in the cold as hell rain and not being able to find your car and Im sure that was one of the worst days of your life.

I will never go back. That place is a ****ing dump.

Thanks for supporting the fins in a hostile environment. It sucks to hear you had such a bad time. My only suggestion would be to not return to that ****hole.

Thank you and your brother for braving the elements and embracing the full Ralph experience in aqua and orange. We were with you in spirit.
Where the team played pretty well in the Pittsburgh snow, this looks like it was far more difficult. Hartline is an Ohio State guy who learned to play in cold and windy conditions, but he was really struggling to catch the ball - he's better than that. For many of the players, like Tannehill and Miller, this was a brutal learning experience and reality check. We have been very competitive for most of the games this year, but this was surprisingly awful. Hopefully, the team character emerges from this setback. I honestly expect the team to play well against the Jets.

The armpit of the United States.

33 degrees freezing rain and heavy wind...just a disaster scenario for us...damn ball was rolling around after it was placed at the Los before the center would grab it...

A heavy passing o in those conditions with terrible pass pro is a loss all day long

Most miserable game I have ever been too. I agree a million percent. The rain was coming down constantly and the wind was blowing just adding to the cold. I wish It would have just snowed it would have made the weather so much better.

I think it was mental with Hartline. I noticed the first few series he was playing without gloves and had a drop or 2 and then he went back to the gloves.

That can play a factor when you are used to catching the ball with gloves.

the weather was not that bad. it was nothing but stop and go rain. if you dressed right, you don't have problems.

we parked in a mud pit by the field house. it was just mudpuddles.

btw, there was a guy who kept bringing up incognito too. I just ignored his silly azz. no effect. it means nothing to me. son of adam shefter.
