My humblest of apologies.......

I am still pulling for feeley, his biggest fault in his preseason starts so far is throwing to players who can't catch, Stop throwing the ball to thompson, minor & donald lee, it doesn't matter how well he throws the ball it bounces off them. Gus hasn't done anything to show he is better, they both have made poor decisions & bad throws. Feeley hasn't been given a real chance yet to win this competition. He has less attempts than any other QB on Miami's roster. He has not been given an opportunity to get going, I haven't seen any of the TC's, maybe he is doing really bad there and had already lost the Job with his bad performance in TC, I just don't see it.

I too would have liked to see AJ suceed, and I hope he still does as he really never had a chance to build any rythm being pulled quickly in the Chicago game and playing with second team in the Jacksonville game.

But I will concede to the fact that Gus is likely to be our QB. What I can't understand is the glee in Miami fans that Gus will be our #1 QB and seeing through the proclaims of "FEELEY SUCKS!" as if some victory has been achieved. Gus is a career backup who had one great game in his career and is 34 years old. 34! The anointing of Gus confirms that we are not ready to push for the playoffs and we will have to wait another year for a rebuidling QB to enter the picture. I hope the many people bashing so called Feeley-lovers realize they are bashing people for hoping a younger QB with a strong arm was going to step up and be our answer to making the Linehan offense flow for the next 4-5 years.

Go Gus I guess.

He had more than one good game in his career. He went to the Pro Bowl. And he didn't go because of one game. But that's beside the point. All this really proves is what most of us already knew: Gus is a better QB than Feeley and we'll be in the market for a QB when the season is over.
