SB, when you look at Trusnick's numbers it's worth noting that those often get skewed with very small sample sizes. Kinda like how Miller's run numbers looked good when he was a sub, but have faded once he was named a starter. A lot of his numbers were a reflection of the defense not keying on him.
Likewise, Trusnick is a stiff mechanical run stuffer. If he started, opposing offenses would gameplan to get him in space and take advantage of his deficiencies. But when he plays so few snaps and almost always in run situations, it's not worth the offenses time to gameplan against him and his few snaps.
True story Dig. To prove your point, his 2 best games were 16 snaps each. In 3 games, playing 36, 44, and 44 snaps, he was average or a little below and exposed in coverage. No way in hell is he worth starting, even for a game or 2, and can see him replaced from final cuts to maybe add a vet for insurance while the young guys develop.
