So do you support Tannehill or not? I get the whole 1st vs 4th round pick thing, and the expectations that come with that, although I don't necessarily agree. There are a lot more factors that determine if a young QB will succeed--1st or 4th round. Except for the once in a generation QB's like Luck and Manning most require time to develop. There is no way Aaron Rodgers would be who he is today without sitting behind Favre as long as he did. Tannehill was thrown in the fire with less weapons than a pop gun his 1st year, then sacked 58 times his second year. Is that all on him? Even with all of that he had the best season a Miami QB has had since Marino. Things are better this year but to expect him to be an eltie QB at this point is irrational. I agree he has become tentative and needs to make more plays, but he is not getting a lot of help from his teammates either. I think we lead the league in drops. I'm not making excuses for him, but to put the franchise all on his shoulders is crazy. If you feel like you need to blame someone, then blame the leadership of the organization--Ross and Philbin. The Miami Dolphins needs new leadership and when, not if, that happens I think you will see us move out of the basement again.

True, how dare a fan show passion, want to do as much research on this player (hoping he can finally be the QB on his fav team), then when things are seemingly going against this player, he sends him reassuring letter to tell him, there are people that still believe in this QB of his favorite team...shame on him. Must be a stalker. :rolleyes2:

Pretty much sucks for your team when it's fans are quicker to attack someone being positive, then someone being negative. :idk:

It's one thing to be positive, but it's another to think that Tannehill would even care, let alone read, this "open letter". It's borderline arrogance by the OP, IMO

Maybe, but fans do this all the time to their favorite sports heroes, movie stars, favorite music band, and like this, the odds it gets read is very slim, but that does not mean that the fan is considering himself/herself to be so special that they expect it to get read.

The OP just took a shot sending a letter to Tannehill, HOPING it gets read, but it should not be interpreted as him being arrogant enough to just out of the blue decide, I think I will send Tannehill a letter that I am sure he will read right away.

You act like people are having to look really hard for flaws in something like they see the Mona Lisa and are nitpicking. This team hasnt had a winning season in half a decade people have a right to feel how they want. I don't get your simplistic stance that if your tem doesn't win or add the playersu want you should just pack up and become a fan of another team if you don't like it. Any fan worth his salt doesn't like losing , to praise a team for not making the playoffs year after year is asnine. Lets quit acting like we are real Debbie downers and are nitpicking a constant playoff team and talking about how their backup left tackle isn't that good as they win division title after division title. I don't agree with the Tannehill hate and find the people that want to start Moore quite interesting but I understand their frustration.

Im not sure why my posts are disagreeable to you, most people on here don't like to hear the team criticized. This team damn well deserves criticism.

I'm a very positive fan based on my previous posts. I was actually being sarcastic since I have never seen something like that being done before except in movies.. lol
 
Writing a soppy letter to Ryan Tannehill is going to do nothing to help his atrocious pocket awareness or his terrible accuracy on longer throws.
