Only doing four rounds him

1st- Michael Huff- Would sure up our secondary in coverage and he can tackle.

2nd- Brodie Croyle- If he stays healthy he could be great.

3rd- Ernie Simms- Great linebacker, somewhat small at 6'0 but has all the physical tools to have success

4th- Jeremy Bloom- You will almost never have a guy with this much talent at WR around in the 4th round, but he has been out of football for 2 years and has size issues at 5'9, but he runs under a 4.3 and catches everything

In an interview thing he said football was going to be his career, even if he still does that its in the offseason anyway, so long as he doesnt hurt himself Im fine with it

Croyle will probally be there, a lot of teams drafted QB's in the third and fourth round that they like last year and probally wont waste a high pick

Everywhere I have looked it says simms is a third rounder but im probally wrong on that

Huff dont even need to explain

Ok at 1, I would rather have Chad Greenway. I will not knock Croyle, if he is there and can stay healthy may be a good pick. In the 3rd I would like a guy from FSU but not Simms, Pat Watkins the S. The guy is 6'4 and would be a demon right away on ST. 4th round would be a nice spot to get an OLmen or a DB.

Michael Huff would be a great first round pick. I don't really think Brodie's an NFL talent, but I do like the Ernie Simms pick.

Greenway was my other pick for round one, we picked the same positions but just in different spots

You took

1st- LB
2nd- Didnt say
3rd- Safety
4th- other/corner

I took

1st- Safety/corner
2nd- QB
3rd- LB
4th- WR

In the third and fourth I just think Simms and Bloom have WAY to much potential not to take especially Bloom

In the first I wouldnt mind Greenway, I just think Crowder and Thomas can hold it down and we need secondary help more

Id also rather sign an O-lineman like Hutchinson or Bently rather than have to draft one

Simms will be gone by the 3rd, barring a disaster he is probably gone in round 2. As far as Greenway, if we are switching to a 3-4 we need more LB's. Greenway can step right in and start, Watkins may start but if not he will be a demon on ST and then start. I think we will go after a big OL in FA but it cant hurt to add one via draft. Injuries happen and we arent going to get starters out of every 6th and 7th rounder we take. If Poole can come back, Daniels, Watkins, Schulters, Jones, and Bell should be enough to get us through this year. If they all play up to their potential we could have 3/4's of our starting DB's all in no more than their 3rd year. My only knock on Huff is that he doesnt really have a position yet, he could be a S he could be a CB.

I really think we will draft O-line in the first round.
Second round - Omar Jacobs
After that best players possible.

This draft is very deep as far as OL goes so unless someone absolutely tickles their fancy I dont think they will go OL in the first.

We appreciate the attempt Alex, but there is absolutely no way Sims makes it to the 3rd round.

He's too good.

charlie whitehurst is the answer to our qb problems and can be had at 16 he is flying under the radar but looked really good at the senior bowl...

Whitehurst will be there LONG after 16, he had a good Senior Bowl but that is kind of his knock. He looks great at times and at other times looks like he has never played the game. His career is a complete lack of consistancy.

Omar will be there in the third for us maybe even get him in round four, I dont think anyone is willing to gamble on him on day one
