My thoughts after tonight

Thanks for taking the time to put up all your opinions regardless if anyone agrees or disagrees with them.
 
TBH I dont give a crap about velocity when the result is 10-13 175 TD... We dont need Henne to be a great QB, We just need him to not F up...

offsides.. just so you know... josh freeman is the best quarterback we have faced in the preseason and we made him look like a scrub passing the ball.. his passing yards are fluffed by a 52 yard gain by a check down.. not to mention he couldnt pass on either of our corners... people are going to be suprised by our secondary, they are nasty

With our offensive line and non existent running game, I can't agree with that. We might actually need Henne to carry us...

You know what? At the end of the day, that is all I really want from him.

I have resigned myself to the fact that he isnt all-world and am 99% sure he'll never be. HOWEVER, that being said, as long as he plays decent and doesnt F up, we'll be alright. I still dont like the fact that this front office is content to stand pat and not look for something better, but that is neither here nor there at this point in the season with the NE game in only 2 weeks.

The god damn OLine though needs to wake the hell up because they are going to be the reason we end up 4-12 or whatever like some say (if we do lose that many games) because right now, THEY are the ones messing up.

We cant run because of them and thats only going to mess with the passing game even more.

This is frightening. If the OL and running game are still horrible midway through the season then both Ireland and Sparano need to be canned and Nolan should be promoted to interim HC. If they can't even deliver on what they came in here preaching to do then they need to go.

So tired of the excuses..

The whole OL concept changes with Long at left tackle....What the hell is so hard to understand? there is a reason these guys are the second best paid position after QB... They make a difference.... If you dont get that! We'll just have to agree to disagree...

I heard one of the announcers tonight say that Sparano is an OL guru.....wtf?!?!

I long for the days of Paul Boudreau. (not that we were that great with him which is point about how bad we are now)

Disagree. With our lack of running game we're going to need Henne to put up some big yards.

True that it will help out big time, but we have problems along the entire line, not just LT.

I saw multiple times when we tried to run the ball and there were up to three Bucs in our backfield blowing through the middle of the line. No RB can get anything going that way....maybe Barry Sanders if he jukes'em right but even then.

Jake can take care of his man and help out Richie at times, but Pouncy, Carey and Columbo need to man up.

They do need to man up... I get that. I do realize the right side of the line sucks right now... But I'm confident its something that can be worked around scheme wise...
 
17 RUSHES FOR 22 YARDS
im thinking i miss ronnie and ricky right now..

and to think we gave up extra picks for thomas..

This line is the reason why ricky and ronnie looked bad last year..
in reality we would have been better drafting 2 offensive lineman with our 1st 2 pics..

And the LINE was the problem today. There were NO holes for Reggie and D. Thomas...
