My Views at Fins Camp Sunday

On topic: Discussing how a guy will do when it is the beginning of June, he does'nt know the offense yet and has a history of being a below average practice player is pointless.

I and many other Dolfans were very disappointed in what we witnessed in AJ Feeley today. He didn't look good at all. He looked like a 3rd string backup today. Even Berlin threw the ball better. I know it's only mincamp but Gus look light yrs ahead of Feeley. Gus is accurate, and makes quick decisions with the ball. AJ on the other hand took longer to relase the abll even when they played w/o any passrush in his face. He even threw a couple of bad ints. I was rooting for Feeley. But today reminded me of last yr when Fiedler outplayed in camp.

I'm not gonna make any excuses for the guy. I've seen many QBs adjust to new offenses like Aikman, Trent Green, & just to name a few. I don't recall ever seeing a QB struggle w/ the offense in Minn. Maybe AJ really isn't the guy man. I was hoping he was. But I truly think Saban's gonna look into next yrsdraft for the QB of the future. From what the fans who attened camp since Friday, AJ Feeley's perfromance has been horrible.

There is not a whole lot of proof to support your observation. Provide us witha little more than Just "AJ on the other hand took longer to relase the ball even when they played w/o any passrush in his face."

You are entitled to your opinion, Just back it up a little better.

I went to camp yesterday and Feeley looked very sharp for a MiniCamp. He made very quick decisions and had very nice zip on his throws. He almost connected with Chambers on a deep route, Just over threw him a tad but the realese, arm strength, and accuracy is there ,he just needs a little more practice. Something I never saw Fiedler do in minicamp. He was extremely vocal too. He connected on about 3 straight throws in the 2 minute drill.

I have no loyalty to either QB. I'll keep my loyalty in Saban making the best choice thank you very much.

That's the way I'm looking at it. The guys who know what they're doing will be the ones making the decision. And this year I have some confidence in our decision makers.

The team is very weak at QB and safety positions and DT and LT. I dont believe fins are a playoff contending team until QB is upgraded. The only reason we one four games last year was because we have a pretty good NFL defense.

I hope we get lucky and grap that USC DT in the supplemental draft since we could use him this year.

Next year, LT and QB positions whould be upgraded one way or another.

Just a question here. When did Trent Green ever adjust to a new offense? KC and St. Louis run pretty much the exact same offense don't they?

It's just a bit early to write him off just yet, let's not forget Gus has played in this system for four years. On a better note Sage looked great in the afternoon. Wonder if he will get any serious consideration?
hes got a nice touch on the long ball
