My WR depth chart..and why...

Now what? Im not being negative? Im not bashing anyone's opinion. I am pointing out I think they will carry all of these WR's. Jesus Christ., where is the dark cloud??????????

I just presented an opinon. Get over yourself. :shakeno:

Its your tone of all of your responses. If someone says red..you just gotta say blue. Thats my only point..and I think most people would tend to agree.

Who cares? You derailed this thread for this?????????? My tone? It's words on a computer screen, my "tone" can't be heard!

And by saying I don't think Thompson will be cut Im being negative????????

Your a friggin mental case! Thanks for ruining a good thread with some decent football talk for this crap!

Even if you're right, he is entitled to take the contrarian position as much as he wants.

Mike Im only talking to you..nobody else. And this has been long in the making...not just this one.

1) he isn't right.

2) in this thread I agreed Thompson sucks, I just said he probably won't be cut because you can't count on Boston to stay healthy and Welker is nothing more than a kick returner.

3) I wasn't being "negative" at all in this thread :shakeno:

You are correct..and in this case...I was out of bounds.

none. Welker is a special teams player, nothing more nothing less. Je gets his own little "niche" spot on the roster.

I'm carrying Boston, Chambers, Booker, Gilmore, AND Thompson
Actually, Saban is including Welker more in the passing offense. I think Welker will be the #5 WR.

Maybe, time will tell. I Just think if he is our #5 WR then one injury and we might be in trouble.

You could try and sneak him by as a #5 WR to save a roster spot, but we better pray no other WR's go down because once we cut Thompson he will get work somewhere else and we would be scrambling for another WR.

whatever. just go away, we are talking football here.

At fourth and fifth recievers..wouldnt you be looking more for the situational type recievers...ala third down type's. Thompson's size does seem to give him an advantage in the red zone. And Jerry Sullivan saw enough in him to take him under his wing. Either way..I guess its a good problem to have.

Also..say we decide to keep 5 WR's. With Welker being primarily as special teams player..would that have to account for one of those spots anyways?

I'd keep Farmer or Mann over Thompson, that may sound ridiculous, but I've seen what Thompson can do in not only Miami, but Washington as well.

I agree with that. I am still hoping we have room to carry 6 WR's this year. I know it's a stretch, but with the problems we have had in the past at the possition, I would like to carry 6 if possible. If that means the 6th on the practice squad then, so be it.

Josh Davis has looked pretty good so far...any chance of him making the practice squad?
