Nasty's Notes 2 (From Camp)

In my eyes he already has. DT is typical DT. Makes GREAT catches and then drops ones that he should have. I told you about the one he dropped. He made a great catch. He jumped up and shielded the ball from the defender and pulled down the ball for a TD. But that pretty bomb that he dropped pissed me off :yell:. I wanted Feeley to have completed that pass... he deserved it for the throw...

Nasty
Thanx man

You wouldn't have seen Holliday. He's out right now with a strained pectoral muscle.

But he should only be out for a few more days.

I didnt watch Crowder much... But physically he looks good. Big and fast. He looks like he is still just learning the system and the playbook. A little lost but quickly makes up for his slowness with reading and knowing where to go with his athletic ability...

Madison is Madison... He looks fine. Madison is a vet and not someone who would struggle because of a scheme. He knows his stuff...

Nasty
Thanks for the report on Channing.

The only reason I asked about Madison is cause it is possible for a vet CB to struggle because of scheme. For reference, look at tape of Chump Baily last year. I figured Sam would be fine; just wanted to confirm that. Again thank you and keep it up please :D

Oh... and there was a #46 on the field. In the program... that is Lionel Turner... but I didnt think that was right since I heard he retired. I couldnt figure out who it that was...

Nasty's Notes:

Vernon Carey - I havent seen him in pads (DAMN WORK!! :fire: ) but he has been lookin good! Really was holding his own. I am starting to believe what I saw with my own 2 eyes on Monday wasnt a fluke. He wasnt perfect... Jason beat him good one time, but that was the only time I saw that. Also, let JT get by on a reverse play with Chambers to JTs side. But holding JT for that long is freakin hard! Looks good though. If he looks like this in pads... I will be a very happy man. Think about it... a LT for the future... It would be amazing! Now I aint putting him in the probowl yet... but he is looking good and very encouraging.

Nasty

making me feel alot better about that draft - giving up the extra 4th for a rt is nauseating but for a starting young lt... :hump:

Turner did retire. I dont know what position 46 was playing but its possible that could have been Chris Akins who was activated from the PUP list just before the practice.

Na... Chris Akins was #36...

I think 46 was given to our new LB Jason Glenn.

How do Booker do, if you saw him

From what I saw, Booker did good. He isnt a flashy type of receiver... so what he does on the field goes easily unnoticed. But he gets the job done... catches the ball when thrown to, and then runs back to the huddle. Very business like. Goes and gets it done with no crap... He will hold his spot at the #2 over Boston and should be an endzone threat this year.

Nasty

thanks

Thanks Nasty. Read it twice & will most likely be the most read & appreciated post today. Keep up the good work. How about Chambers & Mikey? :)
