2 15 yard penalties? Besides the one time I said, where was another instance he threw his QB under bus?
You don't throw an elite WR away for nothing. He didn't disappear in many games at all....and he was a no doubt 1000 yard 80 reception WR yearly, something we haven't had in 2 decades.
Let's see how effective our terrible WR core is without BM getting double teamed.
I cleared up the thread title a bit. :hi5:
Marshall threw Henne under the bus many times during games and even said he preferred Tyler Thigpen to Henne because Thigpen wasn't as mechanical as Chad was or understood how to throw the ball to big receivers.
Every team T.O. was on threw him away for nothing and Marshall had many games where he had four receptions or less than 50 yards receiving because he wasn't involved in the game early.
If you watched the games last year, you will see too many times when Matt Moore would be looking for Marshall to the detriment of the offense. Moore took a lot of sacks last year waiting for Marshall to get open instead of dumping it off to Bush, Bess or just throwing the ball away.
Marshall will no doubt be missed but I can understand why Philbin and/or Ireland thinks it was in the best interest of the team to move on from him.

Thanks.
Fasano was worse to Henne than anyone...he's still here....Bush said the whole team stunk, now he's a captain.
In what way was Fasano worse? That's something maybe I missed....
Bush said that the team, collectively, stunk. That included him. IMO, he kinda had a good point. Brandon actually targeted specific individuals. That sort of thing tends to have more a of negative impact...
Maybe you missed the game Fasano made a scene on the field and on the sidelines visibly angry and yelling at Henne, never saw BM do it to any QB.
Y. Bell didn't think it was such a great point at the time when Bush said it and I'm sure if BM said it he would be burned at the stake by now. But its Bush, so its ok? Whatever, don't know what he will say when we start playing poorly this season.
BM never came out to media except after ProBowl from what I heard. Maybe youhave some links to these "targets" you speak of. I really don't remember. And as for after the probowl he was just saying what the FO and all of us have been saying for years.
Wait a minute...you think the one incindent Fasano had during one game is worse that what Marshall has done during his two years in Miami? Talk about a stretch.Fasano was worse to Henne than anyone...he's still here....Bush said the whole team stunk, now he's a captain.
When Marshall stop throwing his QBs under the bus, then I'll stop calling him Baby T.O.BM was not TO. Stop comparing them just because someone in the media labeled him as baby TO.
I'm not taking anything out on Marshall because he was Moore's go to guy. There is a reason Bess had his worse season since his rookie year. Moore would look for Marshall first and wouldn't look anywhere else until it was often too late.Still was over 1200 yards with our terrible QB situation, not to mention getting no release of pressure from the other WRs. Now you are taking it out on BM because he was Moore's go to guy? Maybe if someone stepped up, it wouldn't have been such a detriment. lol
If you think 50 or less is bad for a couple of games, I wouldn't watch next season if I were you. We are in huge trouble in the passing game when Bush is going to be our #1 wr.

I don't remember anything between Brandon and Moore on the sidelines. Although, there was an episode between Marshall and Henne. Since I missed the Fasano thing, I can't really compare the severity.
I knew that was coming. :D Bell did take offense to Bush's statement but was what Bush said true? Was he implying that the TEAM as a whole was a problem? Not that it couldn't be fixed but at that point they had issues....
The statement that Brandon made comparing Henne & Thigpen wasn't after the Pro Bowl if I am not mistaken....
NYinBostonFin's contempt for everything DolphinWhat's laughable? Philbin stessing the word teammate or the Packers offense stressing the best play concept?
If you didn't see the Fasano thing, you can't compare it. But it was ridiculous, especially because it was a time that Henne was struggling. Not something that was needed at the time. I don't remember anything significant happening between Henne and BM, but I may not have seen.
Do you really want to make a comment about what Bush saying being true, so it's ok? That would be my BM defense on anything he has said about our QBs then.
for some reason people have a problem on here with players stating facts. brandon marshall wanting a probowl qb, is not a problem, it's a great idea...
I wish it was an idea shared by our front office... but it's not.
If you are looking for a lot of public comments you are not going to find them. Just as with the Fasano, most of what happened was during the games. In fact, Henne and Marshall's relationship was so bad at the end of the 2010 season that they avoided each other on the sideline.Links please to anything besides the probowl comments with BM causing problems with Moore. Anything. I don't remember anything worse than Fasano with Henne.
Here is two links to one of the public statements Marshall did make. Brian Hartline echoed much of what Marshall said but Hartline didn't mention Henne by name. http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/thed...n-their-issues-with-chad-henne-and-david-lee/-on the relationship with Brandon Marshall:
“Yeah, I mean we had our ups and downs last year. And some not-so friendly exchanged words but we’ve talked in the off-season. I’ve been sending him some of the playbooks so he can pick up on that because he’s been bouncing around with some of the things that have gone on in the past. But he’s still a good guy, he just speaks up sometimes when you don’t want him to. But he’s a great player and you definitely want him on your side.”
But Marshall said that Henne and quarterbacks coach David Lee were never willing to improvise plays at the line of scrimmage, and when Marshall did, they would get upset with him on the sideline.
“Henne, the way he plays the game is he goes exactly through his reads, no matter the matchup,” Marshall said. “Then you get to the sideline, and it’s some conflict there because they don’t like it (changing routes on the fly).
But Marshall said he wasn’t upset with Williams’ comments about him, Williams said Marshall “makes it difficult to like him and support him” when he takes his gripes public, which he did in the last couple of weeks about Henne.
“It’s not necessarily what he says, it’s when he says it and the way he says it,” Williams said.
“I agree,” Marshall said. “That’s where I need to grow and what I need to work on this offseason. … Just picking the right time to say things and how to say it.”
