New details emerge, don't see how Marshall isn't suspended

Proof that Brandon beat his wife. He might not have been arrested, but these disturbing details are not going to sit well with the league offices. Players have been suspended before for not being arrested. Big Ben got 4 games last year, and he never got arrested.

When is Terrell Owens supposed to be ready to take the field? Maybe we can get Randy Moss to come out of retirement.

Now I don't know if he did or didn't hit his wife but how in hell is this proof? Maybe she got the bruise on her cheek when she was going at him with the knife for talking to some random woman. I will not hit a woman but when you cut me with a knife you are not a woman but a assailant/threat to my life.

No ****. He was accused. That in itself is completely different than any information that's been leaked about the Marshall incident.

so u are saying that Roth should have been suspended just because he was accused. Hell marshall has been arrested over a dozen times and i see no reason for the league to punish him if the state doesnt.

I'm not saying Marshall did it, but it wouldn't be suprising if he did initiate something before getting stabbed. Meaning he didn't want to say anything to get himself in trouble. I mean would any of you guys just stab one without being attacked first. Especially someone with Marshall's past record. Just pure speculation, I guess who really knows for sure what happend except for him and his wife.

This all occured during the lockout. That means Marshall wasn't empoloyed by the NFL at the time. There is nothing the Comish can do about it. It's over.

I think we all know that there is more to the story but we will never know and both people are ok so im ok. No one should be suspended and obviosuly at this point no one should go to jail

This really shouldn't even be a debate. Marshall isn't getting suspended and we all know it. There is nothing proving that he did or did not hit his wife. He's not saying anything, she's not saying anything, nothing is going to happen.

I'm just glad nothing is happening to him. Honestly though I wouldnt be suprised if maybe mid season something pops up. Not trying to have a negative outlook, but more of a realistic one. He better have 10 tds by game 8. ha

Oh absolutely. I think he'll be fine but it's always a concern.

I just don't see how this thread got to 9 pages over something that really is a nonstory.

Who really knows what will happen. always said it wasnt a simple case of his woman went crazy and stabbed him. Not sure the NFL can really make heads or tails of what actually happened. It was interesting that none of this came out initially that the wife had some wounds and about the gun. At some point marshall will definately have another incident and we shall see.

Isn't obvious from the "new" evidence in a case that incidentally has been dropped so no crime was committed:

On a warm April night the Marshall's decided to expand on the Christmas in July sentiment and started their own tradition - Halloween in April! As the Marshal's were carving a pumpkin with a large kitchen knife, Brandon suggested to Michi that they make a "thug" pumpkin so they decided to use bullets to enhance the smile on the pumpkin. After some thought Michi told Brandon that the pumpkin would look better with a dew-rag positioned around it's head, so in a frantic hastily placed movement, Brandon ran for the his favorite dew-rag and subsequently slipped on the pumpkin seeds that were strewn across the floor while carving the pumpkin. He then fell into the knife that Michi was holding. Michi yelled "holly ****" as Brandon yelled in pain. He grabbed for the counter trying to break his fall and pulled the empty clip and gun onto the floor were blood from his stab wound covered all surrounding items.

In a panic Michi and Brandon, asshamed of the geekiness of what they were trying to do gave conflicting reports of the incident, one that included a vase and conflicting reports over whether a knife was even used or not. After thinking about the report that was filed and believing that the doctors would surly know it was a knife wound and not that of a vase inflicted variety, the Marshal's gave second report of what actually happend, Michi said what she was actually doing was cutting her "pumpkin" which was confused with her pet name for Brandon "pumpkin" and unknowingly admitted to a felony.

Later the charges were dismissed based on testimony from the actual pumpkin who said "it really was just another incident of fruitless behavior".
