New Dolphin, Gator Hoskins

I went to Marshall and watched every game Gator played in. He has great work ethic and never had off the field issues. He was essentially unstoppable in CUSA. I really believe the only reason he dropped was due to his size and the conference he played in. Marshall also runs a pass happy offense, so maybe he is viewed as a system player. I think most Marshall fans figured he would go late due to his size, but we didn't expect him to go undrafted.
Does he have any obvious weaknesses? He looks very good. (But all of these videos make the featured players look great).

What I like is that he fights through contact. If we're missing anything in our offense, it's that. Who knows if he sticks, but he looks like he'll go down fighting if he doesn't.

I see 4 TEs on the squad, Sims and Lynch the blockers and Clay and Gator the seam busters. That's the first I've seen of Gator Hoskins, and color me impressed.

Highlight videos are obviously designed to make players look awesome but frankly he looks particularly awesome. Exciting pickup.

Clay 2.0 and I'm good with that. I like him a lot more than lynch

It took time for Clay to adjust to the NFL. I would expect about the same. PS player?

design an offense for 2 great HB's. neither Clay nor Gator are Gronk but perhaps the mismatch could still hold?

Gator Hoskins 2014 - 6'2" 253 pounds. Dustin Keller 2013 6'2" 253 pounds.

I heard a learned NFL person say that the Pats(insert boo here) were messing up NFL defenses with Hernandez and Gronk by passing against 8 in the box or running against 7 in the box(depending on Brady's "check with me"). Damn if we can't do that with Clay and ????

We could use a guy named Gator.
