New GM, first bold move = Teddy Bridgewater?

I don't care what they do but they better get rid of Tannehill. It is slowly occurring to me that fans have been getting exactly what they deserve all of these years.

Some of you will dislike me for that statement or, hopefully, just the statement on its own. "Thats bullsh!t, Onda. I've been rooting for this team since my pops put a Dolphin colored football in my crib." But the average fan reflects threads like this. I know. Im in the heart of South Miami, 5 minutes away from where the Phins were born, before they relocated North.

And its not that said fans arent knowledgable. Hell, some have been watching for more than a pair of decades. I assume they were spoiled. Those in their 60s partied with perfection and those in their 40s were memorized by Marino. If the QB isnt Peyton Manning, off with his head except how would they ever know? They wont give a QB 2 years before wanting to move on.

Trade Tannehill. He is too good for the Miami fan base.

The same fan base Im sure would boo a Heat team if they dont win it all again. Thats what the core of South Miami is now a days. I cant speak for north. I dont live their but it sure seems to be spread out, even to other states, this sense of entitlement.

Tannehill is better than this fan base. And i could care less about Tannehill. Its not the guy i like so very much, you know, because hes very good. It could be Fidel Castro's (i come from a Cuban family) son out there. Its the talent i am grateful for which a lot of fans wouldnt recognize if it was roped with a perfect spiral smashing their noses.

Is this a serious thread or sarcasm? Either way I've found another poster who is clinically insane.

First we had to hear about a "Johnny Football", now we have to hear about a "Teddy Football"...

What if....not everybody is made to create a troll thread.

Troll threads were fun when they were coming around once in a while and done by certain people. They were funny. But it really becomes ridiculous now. I played along with the troll thread about Manziel but creating another one exactly like the one with Manziel - within a couple days????

Please......

GET OFF MY LAWN!!!!

:fogey:

To move up to the #1 overall pick would cost us a boat load of picks not only for this year, but probably next year as well. Why do this for a QB who may not be any better than Tannehill. You have to look at the competition that Louisville faces. Nothing to me screams out that Bridgewater is a sure thing franchise QB. Mel Kiper thinks the Phins could be targeting a QB like AJ McCarron of Alabama in Round 2 or 3.....I think this is more realistic.

 @ serious reply

I am not really sold on any of the quarterbacks that are coming out this year. Besides, we already watched a year of a player going through the growing pains of a rookie season. Now we have a quarterback that is entering his third year. Why go backwards and watch another year of rookie mistakes. Let Tannehill either improve or prove that he is worthless, then go out and get another quarterback. Plus Bridgewater is a lightweight like Robert Griffith. He is going to constantly get hurt.

I was actually impressed. Occasionally I've pasted my reply from one site to another and forgot to change a few words to make it apropos of the new site. Nothing like that here. I was expecting to see Manziel's name at least once, or perhaps a few letters that hadn't been erased...Teddy Bridgiel.

I guess Blake Bortles is next. Or maybe Derek Carr.

I hope we never make it to Stephen Morris.
