Well we could advocate for all dbs to have heart attacks to level the playing field. They say hamlin has a metal plate in the middle of his chest to protect him. He's the only one allowed that.

This actually looks like it would workView attachment 187354
Do you honestly believe Tua was concussed on that play? It has been clear he has to follow a different set of rules when it comes to hits to the head.Think about it... Hamlin was hit in the chest and his heart stopped, and he almost died on the field, yet when he was back playing again, Tua ran headfirst into Hamlin's chest and Tua is the one who got injured. I don't know who's dumber; Tua for still playing, or Grier for giving him a big contract.
You've made a good point, and IMO there are two things going on here. First, ever since Tua was made the League's poster boy for concussions in 2022, every time he's hit his head, he has been treated differently than other players and probably kept off the field longer. And this last time, it seems evident that he didn't need to go on IR, but the team put him there anyway. So, IMO, whoever decided to put him on IR when it wasn't necessary should be fired.Do you honestly believe Tua was concussed on that play? Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson were knocked out on from their head bouncing off the ground on hits last year. Both immediately “passed” protocol checks and went back into the game. The Bills officially said Allen hurt his ankle and that is why he slid on his face (clearly not conscious) on a nationally televised game.
You can pretty much guarantee Tua would have been able to play within a week or two tops, but the team put him on IR to save face. There is realistically no chance he was injured more than Allen or Jackson who were knocked out.
Hahahahaha! LMAO!! That is exactly what he needs! Funniest pic I have seen in a long time! This actually looks like it would workView attachment 187354
Really!? That may explain the concussion, even though he is concussion-prone.They say hamlin has a metal plate in the middle of his chest to protect him. He's the only one allowed that.
Probably....... he would still get hurt
This has been discussed over and over. Thanks for being redundant. Don’t know if I could’ve made it through the day without hearing another Tua hater crying. You've made a good point, and IMO there are two things going on here. And second, the fact that Tua is being treated differently than everyone else is a huge reason why instead of giving him a big new contract, Miami should have traded or cut him. This stupid crap is going to continue every time Tua hits his head or gets slammed to the ground, so why would any team that wants to become a contender put up with this, and even worse, base their entire offense around this QB?
I think the new helmet will work! They just need it with Dolphins logo and in white! LMAO!!In all seriousness, if TT really wants to help his team win, he should focus on staying on the field. That includes wearing protective equipment he may not like.
Last sentence you are dead on!You've made a good point, and IMO there are two things going on here. Crying? I'm just stating the obvious. And, I'm not being redundant because I haven't seen anyone else saying that whoever put Tua on IR should be fired or suggesting that the team should have got rid of Tua earlier because of the negative media attention when he gets hurt. This has been discussed over and over. Yup, crying. You are also lying or just completely oblivious if you say you’ve never read those same sentiments on this board.Crying? I'm just stating the obvious. That said, it's impossible to make it through the day here without some Tua-lover complaining that someone said something they didn't like.
I said that Grier and McDaniel should be fired right after the Jets loss. And the majority of the board said the same thing. Who do you think put Tua on IR? It was Mcdummy and the GM with nine lives.Crying? I'm just stating the obvious.
