New interesting rumor on Alex Smith

I dunno, I think the 49ers are just being cheap. I'm thinkin that Alex Smith doesnt care who picks him, he just wants to be paid like a #1 pick. If the 49ers pass on him, he'll want a big contract from the Dolphins also. Maybe Saban and Linehan would be his top choice, but I think if San Fran would give him his money, that he'd be very happy to be a 49er.
 
this really isn't a new rumor. Alot of people have said this is why Smith is asking for such high money.

PLus I think Smith is just a smokescreen because of how long it took the 9ers to show that they liked him, and they had been recruiting Rodgers from the start.

But ya never know.
 
I heard smith on dan patrick show... very smart, very diplomatic. In a roundabout way he said he would rather play for a team that was dedicated to putting the right players on the field vs a cheapskate organization. i am from elkins wv.
 
My question is when are the 49ers going to decide to give up on Smith and take their local kid Aaron Rodgers? they better not wait until their 15 min. is up on Sat. to announce their choice, if they pick now then Miami will be the first team to pick tomorrow and we won't have to wait so long

Let me see if I understand what you are saying; Condon won't hold out his top-2 pick QB in order to get what he wants?

basketball?:roflmao:,j/k, i know the made it to the elite 8 but that was a fluke, syracuse deserved to be there they got ripped off but WVU should be very good next year
