What are the paramount decisions the new regime as made so far?
It would be nice to remember what they have done as the season moves forward.
Certainly the management/coaching changes were the most important moves of the Off Season.
I'm a wait and see. I think it was likely great but they do have some debatable moves so far.

Let Brandon Marshall go
Hire Chad Johnson
Change to 43
Change to WC Offense
Let Yeremiah Bell go
Pass on Matt Flynn
Hire Garrard
Select Tannehill

What else could prove to be a major decision good or bad.

If Tannehill turns into a elite franchise qb nothing else matters!

The season hasn't started and a lot of Ireland's decisions are blowing up in his face. As stated above, Ireland's, Philbin's, and the rest of the coaching staff's fate rests squarely on Tannehill's shoulders. Even with all the inefficiencies on the team, I've come to realize an excellent quarterback can mask them.

We'll see how they handle the Chad arrest. That will be telling..

I'd say. I have to wonder how they have been dealing with him already. Chad seems had home saying some really stupid things. Things like getting arrested and doing porn etc. You really have to wonder why he has such little respect. He seemed to need to contain himself in NE but acts like it is all good in Miami. It does say something about culture.

Other big decisions:
- Recruit expensive FA Richard Marshall on $16M for 3 years to strengthen the DBs
- Develop WRs rather than splurge on a big name FA
- Chop Henne (4 years worth of coaching invested in the Robot)

I like the no huddle. Its a big part of what we do now. It means everyone has to pay attention and learn your assignments and be online with QB at LOS.

This is why a B. Marshall or Chad Ochostinko is not needed. Just guys who work at counting to four. I count four condoms for Ocho.

I can understand getting rid of Marshall since we drafted and signed numerous players to try to fill the void hoping to strike gold, but the loss of Bell will be equally tough because we didn't get anything for him, or address the safety position in the off season by drafting or acquiring a quality player..we are just banking on the guys we have. IMHO..none of them are as good as Bell.
I like Philbin and Shermin. My only concern about Philbin is can he show some emotion at times when the team needs to be kicked in the ass. I am sure he is tough minded, but can he show some button pushing skills. His demeanor is much preferred to the bonehead Sparano, but he needs to get more vocal.
Ireland..Regarding the draft, I would have taken a WR instead of Egnew where we took him. He looks very raw and probably will not help us much this year.

Don't agree with giving Marshall away for next to nothing, but unlike the last bunch of Meatball, Henning led clowns, feel that this franchise is now in smart, capable, forsightful hands. I'll easily give 'em a "B"

If he fails it doesn't matter they are fired anyway

Good thing you are not in charge.

We can't keep firing our Head Coach and staff. At some point, you have to let them grow and give them enough time to make things happen.
