I understand the historical/sentimental value of the old logo but it also looks dated. I think the logo now is fine. It's the colors that should revert back to the older colors. Combine that with taking the helmet off the Dolphin and we're set.

We need to stop having such a stupid looking cartoon logo. So many people make fun of our logo and colors, it's just a disgrace.

What is wrong with a simplified logo? The ONLY NFL logo that looks semi-realistic anymore is the Bears ALTERNATE logo. That's it. Every one else has either a "cartoony" logo or lettering of some sort, or in the case of the Browns the color orange.

I get maybe wanting to go back to the lighter colors and dropping the blue. But there is nothing wrong with our logo. That includes the Dolphin wearing the helmet. There is nothing wrong with it. And before anyone can argue that "professional" teams don't use "tools of the trade" in their logos (for lack of a better term). I point out these other professional teams:

The only people that have the right to complain about our colors and logos are those that grew up with the original colors and logos. Those that can actually remember watching Marino play for the for the first time, or seeing Larry Cszonka playing for the Dolphins.

As for the new uniforms. I don't see ours changing that much at all. They will sport the new materials that Nike is using and that is about it. And if you go off the rumor mill, the only team that is suppose to change drastically is Seattle.

Broncos arent intimidating either, but they're logo is one pissed-off horse..... same with all the bird teams.
I like this logo, same dolphin... but replacing the cheesy sun with a football and enlarging it helps.

Who ever whipped this up needs to be dragged out into the desert and shot. That is terrible.

How many times have you guys looked over a schedule release and thought, "Man, I don't know if we can beat those guys. Their logos look tough. I'm intimidated."

Broncos are by far more intimidating than Dolphins. A horse is a strong animal that can kill a person. And yeah, birds aren't intimidating, but none of those logos go beyond angry eyes. The Finheaven logo has an angry dolphin on steroids with an angry grin. It's goofy.

Lol you dont think Dolphins cant kill a person? Bottlenose dolphins can probably kill a person as fast or even faster than a horse. They can kill sharks and other dolphins.

I like this logo, same dolphin... but replacing the cheesy sun with a football and enlarging it helps.

Putting the ball in the fins might help some receivers cattch the ball lol

That would really get them made fun of. Dolphins are not intimidating. They're dolphins...

I'm a fan of Dolphins in football and sea.

In fact I understand Miami selected Bootle-nose Dolphins because of their gracious moves and empathic attitude, but it would be cool to turn into the bigger brother of the Delphinidae family: the Orca.

Orcas are the top evolution of the sea world. They develop skills by teaching from generation to generation, so each group owns special techniques to hunt, like dropping seals of icebergs with an ordinated attack or opening strong shell crustaceans by using rocks or sticks. In fact they are the only hunter for adult gray and blue whales. Also they have different jobs like farming oysters or seaweed, tend their sick and wounded, and have developed very smart strategies to protect their families. These mammals can kill any shark by using a weird weakness and flipping them into a position that leave the fish in a catatonic state. Each group has a different language, and they can teach their language when a young orca is adopted. I admire those cetaceans as they are one of few living creatures owning a civilization.

If Miami Dolphins is going to change logo into a more fierce image, then should resemble orcas.

Just turn down the cartoony vibe on the dolphin "caricature" and it would serve better in looking less "disney" plush toy.

And the argument that whimpy uniforms have no psycholgoical impact - Riiight, then why don't we ever seem more men sport teams wearing just pink with white pokadots?

Why don't cops, the marines, or navy seals rather not opt to wear pastel colors?

Iconography and color have their own visceral meanings.

A cute dolphin holding a ball in a field of bright orange, aqua, and white, is a sigil about "happy" "playful" "fun." Unfortunately this is what is emphasized.

It's a pretty clownish image but oh well.

I've always said we should have a dark blue uni, which brings the tuffness out of these fins. I like it!!!

I'm aware that they can, but they don't have the reputation of a fierce animal, hence why they don't name cars after them, and why other teams don't use it as a logo.

The all white thanksgiving throwbacks are the best. I wish we would wears those and an aqua one like it. No frills all class.

I hope nike destroys everything about these uniforms. Im so sick of looking at these old jerseys. We keep living in the past, past don't mean **** if it isn't repeated. Bring in a whole new look please. Keep the colors but please add some black and maybe and aqua helmet.

The finheaven logo would not look good on a helmet. It would look way more cartoon than what we have. I love the logo, and I think it looks pretty good on that blue helmet.....especially with the little sunburst changed. A drastic change would be a bad idea. I for one like going new and innovative, our throwbacks don't appeal at all.
