NEWS: Dolphins Sign Tailback Chatman

Wow. Does this mean that a deal is in place for either Lamar Gordon or Sammy Morris and that Travis Minor will be released?

Jesse Chatman played well will subbing in for LT the past two years.
 
I wanted the Phins to sign him but the Chargers gave him a 1st rounder tender
 
Chatman does well on kick returns as well. This could spell the end for Minor and Gordon after Ricky comes back...
 
interesting....a trade or cut of running backs is coming.

In some past articles it was said the Linehan liked Minor in this offense....I'm starting to think that perhaps both gordon and morris could be gone. I'll be a touch suprised by morris but not shocked or upset with the chapman signing.

Ahhhhhhhhh....good observation. I think we'll get a 5th or 6th for Gordon from the Eagles. They are in bad shape at running back. It's a little surprising that they didn't sign Chatman.
 
Weird. I hope this means Gordon will be traded (maybe to Philly for a 6th). And I hope they don't get rid of Morris, who's gamer. Minor's a goodST player but if Chatman is too, he'll be cut.
 
WOW, I LOVE IT. I was wondering about this guy. He was a monster last year when LT went down. I LOVE IT. He's our third down back.
