I think Hudson Houcks' fingerprints are all over this one. It was his line that opened holes for Chatman to run through so he really knows the player well.

I did think about that, but what is the reason he was picked up? IS this kid gonna backup Ronnie the first 4 games and maybe even split carries with him?

I think there is more too it. So we are keeping Williams, Brown, Morris , Minor and Chattman? 5 RB'S? There might be a deal in the works for Morris, I can't see us keeping 5 RB'S even with Ricky gone for 4 games.

What would we do when Ricky returned? Than maybe trade Morris who is very underrated? Interesting Move.

This makes sense to me. That would also mean that Saban feels he has the potential to do just that. And did you see the posts about this guy? Someone said he was better than Ronnie Brown, this I highly doubt, although it makes me think we might have found something here.

Maybe Saban treats FA the same way some treat the draft. " Best Available Player" Because everyone knows, RB was not a weakness for us.
