Ok, so a
QB can't be successful if brought in now ( true but negative), the preseason games mean nothing (true but negative) and all we should do is HOPE that AJ or GUS get better.

I'll side with the posters who like to think about the issues and try a hand at problem solving. I would rather have so called negative thoughts than sit back and wait and assume the problems will get solved by hoping. I am sure that is not a winning formula.

Not only should we look for the QB answer now, not next season (that does not mean the answer is out there right now), we are 5 years to late.

How is hoping AJ and Gus improve with time and practice negative. The problems cant be solved by any fan's idea of what would be good for the team. Im not sitting back hoping the problems will be solved by just simply hoping. Its the practice that will solve the problems. Im not gonna sit here and honestly believe that we can solve the QB problem by looking outside the orginzation. There is no other answer at QB than AJ or Gus this year. Its called reality.

There may not be a QB at this time, but looking or someone here thinking about it is how the thread started. There is nothing wrong with looking and thinking because neither GUS or AJ will will a Superbowl with the dolphins.
THAT's reality.

so in my little opinion, if someone wants to post about an answer at QB great. You can be sure Saban has both short and long term thoughts as well, and you can be sure he is thinking about it. If he is not, then he is not the guy I thought he was (is).

True we need a QB of the future, but I feel there is no need to pick someone else up this yr. Phillip Rivers isn't worth giving up a 1st rd pick.

Also, keep in mind that you don't need a great QB to win a superbowl - all you need is a solid defense, good running game, and an efficient QB who minimizes mistakes - Baltimore Ravens did it with Trent Dilfer - come on!
And the Raiders did it with Plunkett (sp).

Yes it is possible but not common. It is more common in recent years I will give you that.

Again the thread was about ending threads about looking for a QB, the REPLIES and VIEWS suggest the posters here like it! they are the top threads.

Post away!
