Why are you so up on changing the one very thing that goes back 40 years? The new era mean absolutely nothing without the history that started it all. The new look is the Coach, and many players to go along with it.

Not all of this is about young and old either. Some older posters are ok with change and a lot of the younger ones want nothing to do with it.

I'm not so sure how much you know about how this organization started, but the person who started it is now dead. He is the one who, along with a couple of others, thought of the logo, and the colors.

Your so intent on changing the very thing that made many many people become a fan to begin with.

So for me, change the color of the uniforms once in a while is fine, but that Logo means the Miami Dolphins, and the History that goes with it.

No Changes needed.

I hear what you're saying Oz, but do you really think the logo is the thing that made many many people become a fan? Or am I misreading you?
 
That light aqua one with the D is definitely the winner so far. That thing is awesome! They should wear that with the aqua shirt and white pants, if they ever do this season.

As is noticeable on the helmet in your sig, the logo has undergone many changes in 40 years.. At first the abstract painting looking Dolphin was offcentered on the sunburst.. Then the abstract painting Dolphin became centered... then the abstract painting dolphin became a cartoon dolphin in the mid 90s.. Im sorry, but the argument doesnt work.. It has changed significantly since its inception.. including a color change to darker shades.

It's not what made everyone a fan. I'm talking about kids in the 5-10 year old range. The colors, and the logo are very attractive to them, and many many of them become fans that way. It's a fact, it happened to me, and many of my friends.

I saw them on TV, and I was like cool. Next thing I know my pops gets me a T-Shirt with that logo on it, and then we started going to games. It's not just me either.

Oooooh kay. I get you. I guess that makes sense. That's why I started following the University of Michigan, although it didn't in the final analysis make me a fan.

I became a fan of the Dolphins at age 6 because that was Miami's football team, and I was living in Homestead! :)
