NFL.Com QB Rankings: Moore, Henne Worst In League

You do realize that good QB's including E. Manning won games on there own or atleast with it on their shoulders at the end and won, something Moore (or Henne) could not do....Moore with a bunch of chances.

You can consider the Gnats' success all Eli, but I don't think that Eli started playing like an elite QB when he got targets like Cruz and Nicks to catch his passes and that the Giants started winning games when their defense got its act together and their RBs both finally got healthy late in the season were simply coincidental.

He finished with the 12 best passer rating in the NFL last season. That's a low blow on Moore if you ask me.

Eli played well when it counted, Moore played well when it didn't. That is the biggest difference between Moore and the good QB's and something not shown in a QB rating, which is why I think it is a worthless number.

Eli has two of the greatest passes in SB history. the first to Tyree that won the first SB. the second one was the long 35 yarder to Manningham between two defenders to win the second QB. Can we say that about anyone else in the current NFL? Case Closed.

Eli played well when it counted this season. He hasn't always played well when it counted in previous seasons. In fact, the knock on Eli has always been his streakiness and his tendency to get down on himself and fall apart.

This year, he's been much different, and IMO, it's been the presence of Nicks and Cruz. One of these guys is almost always open when they're on the field together, or they leave somebody else open if teams do manage to blank them both, so Eli always has targets. Having good targets, along with good protection, makes life for any QB so much better, no matter if his name is Manning or Moore.

I totally agree with you about the QB rating.

Bro Eli Manning and Matt Moore have been in the league about the same amount of years and Eli has 2 SB rings and an MVP, that's all I am gonna say about this.
