NFL.Com QB Rankings: Moore, Henne Worst In League

I think the reason he has Eli ahead of Brady is because of the present and not what has been done in the past.

Eli 2 SB against Brady and 2-0 with 2 SB MVPs.

Brees and Rodgers only have 1 SB win. Eli beat them both last year head to head. So as of Today Eli is may be more elite.

HAving said that I think Rodgers is better. I think Brady has started his decline from the top.

Everyone has their own internal pressure but Moore had zero outside pressure to win just like '09 in Carolina where he was "great" then he started week 1 w/ pressure to win and he flooped in 2010 just like he will if he is Miami's opening day starter this year.

Hm. Well since that's guaranteed and all....

They get "dissed" b/c they don't help their teams win, each had talented teams around them last year. Moore needed to wait untilt he tam was 0-6 to start playing ok, Fitz started off well but when the presssure to win came he folded. neither guy has ever played in or won a big game in this league. They are serviceable guys while still looking for QBs of the future but you aren't winning anything w/ Fitz/Moore types.

Oh, please, stop with the bull manure! Moore, McCoy, and Fitzpatrick help their teams win at least as much as Mark Sanchez has helped the Jests win. Maybe more considering the talent gap between their teams and the Jets.

The difference is that the Jests had excellent defenses and running games in 2009 and 2010, so you claim Sanchez is so great because "he" got the Jests to 2 AFCC games. He's "clutch" according to you. Well, it's really easy to be "clutch" when things go right and not so easy to be "clutch" when they don't.

When he didn't have a great defense or running game to depend on in 2011, Sanchez sucked monkey balls. He never stepped up in 2011, despite having more starts than Moore, McCoy, and Fitzpatrick. He ended the season ranked about 10 spots lower than Moore. His star WR went ballistic in frustration during a game because Sanchez was so crappy. His team f'n trades for Tim Tebow and his head coach claims that Tebow could get "up to 20 snaps a game", which is about 1/3 of the offensive snaps. Tell me again how those actions say "clutch, franchise QB" -- and before you start whining about how bad your offensive line was, don't bother. The Jets have 2 bonafide Pro Bowlers on their OL: Ferguson and Mangold. The reason Sanchez got sacked so much is because he can't make presnap reads and he holds the ball too long.

If this is about 2011 production, then maybe Eli was the best QB. However, if that's true, then how can Luck and Griffin be #16 and #21? Moreover, how can Peyton, who didn't play a down in 2011, be included at all?

If this list is about future ability to be great, then why is Luck only #16? Shouldn't he be Top 10 at least?

Maybe this list is supposed to be about future ability just in 2012? Then, I suppose, Peyton Manning belongs towards the top. However, if it's beyond 2012, how can he be ranked towards the top when he'll be 36 in 2012?

Smith is simply inconsistent and irrational in his ranking criteria, resulting in nonsense.

everything you said is spot on, unfortunately myself and most posters on this site have relayed these facts and information literally a 100+ times

it never goes anywhere, he has an excuse and BS reason to back his point and just uses the same ones and phrases over and over and over again until most just give up b/c its frustrating talking to a wall and realize there is no point

it is what it is, a Dolphins related thread title on a Dolphins website nothing to do with the Jets and as usual 10-20 pages of the same BS every time, he will say it wasnt him that turned the convo, it was "jealous bitter" Bills or Dolphins fans that did it, never him though, thats against the rules

Yeah, Moore & fitz had horrible run games this year, right?

The D and run games in 2010 were up and down, in '11 they were worse but we were still in it until the end.

Do you know what "up to" means? it doesn't mean he'll get 20 snaps and that includes lining up as a RB and playing STs too.

The OL was horrible last year, stop looking at pro bowls- you embarrasss any knowledgeable fan by doing so.

Sanchez is not great but he was very good for us in 2010 having to rescue our D and run game numerous times throughout the year or we wouldn't have made the playoffs. Sanchez has played in and thrived in big games since his rookie year, Moore/Fitz have never played in one. Fitz finally had some pressure to win midseason and he was horrible- worse tha Sanchez was at his worst in 2011.

If by excuses you mean facts then I agree. You and the Bills fans can enjoy losing games w/ "better" QBs, I'll take the guy who has 4 playoff wins in 2 years which was only 2 wins lss than Fitz and Moore led their teams to a year ago.

4 playoff wins in 3 years*

Two of those int's were on last minute hail mary's... And the rest of our team was playing like crap thru those first few games, though people seem to like to forget that...

Exactly. Henne was running for his life in the games he did play. I mean 5 sacks in one game? And the way the defense played the first half of the season, OMG!

Matt Moore is not a great QB, but right now I will take him straight up over Skelton, Fitzpatrick, Sanchez, McCoy, Gabbert, Ponder, Henne, Freeman, etc. He is a mid tier QB.

You are the starting QB in the NFL and you have no pressure?

That is amazingly stupid.

There is a difference in statistically playing well and actually playing well, especially when things like fumbles and inability to close games are not figured in to those statistics. Henne and Moore are below average guys that need major help from all aspects of the team to win against mediocre teams.

All QBs "need major help from all aspects of the team to win" even against mediocre teams. The Bills beat NE for the first time since 2003 because the Bills D stepped up and NE's didn't. :hclap:

Who has a better D now, the bills or the phins? Theysigned MArio W. and anderson in this off-season.

I can tell you the bills offense is much better then ours. See what can happen in 4 years for the bills. I think the bills will be second in this division.

I've seen plenty quarterbacks put teams on there backs and single handedly win games...

nobody is going to convince me that "EVERY quarterback needs major help from all aspects of the team" to win games.....
