NFL.Com QB Rankings: Moore, Henne Worst In League

Put yourself in philben and Shermans shoes. New HC from GB that runs WCO with one of the best QBs in the league. Sherman a former head coach from GB (same team) that coached Farve a HOF. They have a 4 year contract to succeed and if you believe they are going to risk their JOBS on MOORE and GERRARD then you live in FANTASY land. They are going to hitch their carreers on their QB and someone they can develop from scratch.

Who has a better D now, the bills or the phins? Theysigned MArio W. and anderson in this off-season.

I can tell you the bills offense is much better then ours. See what can happen in 4 years for the bills. I think the bills will be second in this division.

They're still the Bills. Don't forget that.

Matt Moore is not a great QB, but right now I will take him straight up over Skelton, Fitzpatrick, Sanchez, McCoy, Gabbert, Ponder, Henne, Freeman, etc. He is a mid tier QB.

Yes, this. It's not even a contest, really. People saying "You cant look at the STATS when comparing them! YOu have to go by these arbitrary things that only I can judge so MY Opinion is constantly the correct one!" are just idiots who parrot what talking heads say.

To have Matt Moore @ #31 is so hilariously wrong I dont know where to begin. He COMPLETELY out played Skelton. People want to say Moore struggled against elite talent, that's fine. Skelton couldn't even beat ****ty talent without being CARRIED by that team. Moore did enough to beat NE but was completely let down by his defense. Moore did enough to beat the Jets but was let down by Marshall and the oline (or are we pretending Marshall didn't drop two TDs?)

Im pretty sure overall Marshall helped Moore than hurt him but of course Marshall sucks now that he is not a phin

Not at all what I said but I guess making up strawmen arguments is a great way to make sure you take over an argument!

Marshall definitely played well, but look at the numbers. Marshall benefitted from Moore

marshall has basically put up those numbers every year in the league so Im pretty sure Moore benefitted more from him than Marshall did from him.
what strawman arguement have I put up. Moore has only stayed a starter or kept a starting job due to injury, never once has kept a job even a full season , he will probably be bouncing to his 4th team after this season , Marshall has definately been a better wr than Moore has been a qb.

theres no way marshall benefited from moore, more than more benefited from marshall..

that is flawed thinking from the word go.

I've seen plenty quarterbacks put teams on there backs and single handedly win games...

nobody is going to convince me that "EVERY quarterback needs major help from all aspects of the team" to win games.....

Like whom, exactly? Why don't you give us the specifics of the who, when, wheres of these "plenty quarterbacks put teams on there backs and single handedly win games... "

Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, and Ben Roethlisberger in the 2011 playoffs?

Eli Manning and Tom Brady in the 2012 Super Bowl?

Maybe it was Peyton Manning with his collection of SB rings from when his Indy teams had crappy defenses and mediocre running games?

Why would they be stupid enough to hitch their careers to Tannehill on the sayso of a bunch of talking heads in the media?

Besides, I suspect that Ireland makes the decision not Philben and not Sherman. They give their input. The only way the Fins waste a first round pick on Tannehill is if Ross decides he wants him. Tannehill is the third best QB in a 2 QB draft. DOH!

That ranking is so not well done. Just read first 5 qb's, didn't keep up reading when i saw that.... Ben Roethlisberger over Brees, Rodgers and manning?? LOL

He's just ranking QB's based on their rings.

Again not at all what I said. Reading comprehension on this board has always been low, but guys come on. Look at Marshalls numbers with Henne at QB, then look at them with Moore at QB. He clearly saw his production jump.

Also, to use Moore's history is AGAIN a lesson is ignorance or laziness, whatever you want to call it. Look at the facts surrounding his circumstance, not just the end result. DLockz, repeatedly you've countered arguments I haven't made. First, you mock me as if I said Marshall is a bad player (nowhere did I say that) and now you're saying that I said Moore helped Marshall more than Marshall helped Moore. Nowhere did I say that. Nor imply it. Stop.

All QBs "need major help from all aspects of the team to win" even against mediocre teams. The Bills beat NE for the first time since 2003 because the Bills D stepped up and NE's didn't. :hclap:

You do realize that good QB's including E. Manning won games on there own or atleast with it on their shoulders at the end and won, something Moore (or Henne) could not do....Moore with a bunch of chances.

Thank you for pointing out what is obvious to most, but evidently not all. I guess for some you have to spell everything out, especially when pointing out something factual they don't like.

You are the starting QB in the NFL and you have no pressure?

That is amazingly stupid.

If you think Matt Moore had pressure to win this year then I can't help you.

All QBs "need major help from all aspects of the team to win" even against mediocre teams. The Bills beat NE for the first time since 2003 because the Bills D stepped up and NE's didn't. :hclap:

If Buf's D is going to get 4 TOs a game I loe Fitzpatrick as a QB but that's not going to happen every week. When Fitz finally had pressure to win and his D stopped scoring for him and turning it over as much he began to look like the journeyman he is.
