NFL.Com QB Rankings: Moore, Henne Worst In League

Once again, Matt Moore ended up as the 12th best QB in the NFL last season. I know that people dislike him for whatever reasons but facts are facts.

he didn't end up as the 12th best QB, stats tell PART of the story. He did a good job w/ no pressure to win the 2nd half of the season, he was nowwhere near the 12th best QB in the league and any unbiased rankings will have him in that 25-32 range going into 2012.

except for the fact that teams have been able to WIN w/ Cassell and Sanchez.

Based on last year Sanchez is in the 20-25 range, based on 2010 he is closer to 10 but either way he's clearly better than Matt Moore

Please, please don't take the bait lads and cause this to degenerate into another Sanchez debate :bobdole:

Considering Moore's a guy who finished the season 6-3 beating as many winning teams over 12 games as Brady did over 16 and one less than Ryan over his last 9 games (since we gotta count that 16th game last minute TN fluke I guess) beating teams with a .416 winning percentage compared to Ryan's wins vs teams with a cumulative .375 winning percentage, this is strictly bull**** no matter how it's served up. He was the second best divisional QB through the last half of the season.. and it wasn't even close, so there ain't no way he's ranked worse than those 2 other guys.

Not surprisingly though, despite its obvious subjectivity, it's still fresh red meat for the usual Pavlovian Droolers. :idk:

The list is terrible anyways. Eli the best QB in the NFL? Big Ben better than Rodgers? Sanchez better than Moore?

He should be ashamed of himself for publishing this.

finished the season 6-3, started it 0-3 when the team was already 0-4(and was the QB for most of the game of the 4th loss)

Brady has a track record of beating winning teams, he got a break w/ the sched and led his team to 13 wins. That's the same as going 6-6?

Some QBs can't play w/ pressure to win, until Matt Moore proves otherwise he is one of those QBs.

Matt Moore is a nice backup QB, he's not a good starting QB. 31 or 32 may be harsh but he's not much better than that.

What an insane comment. Sanchez has never in his career had a QB rating as high as Moore. Sanchez will never be as good as Henne, and Henne isn't even close to Moore. But don't let facts get in the way of a dream.

Typical of the national media to rip the Fins any chance they get. Moore finished ranked like 16th overall but hey drop him to 32? Makes no sense.

12th best in the NFL. Not 16th.

I wish the same could be said for Sanchez, he's NOT a good backup and won't be in the league very much longer. Sanchez wouldn't beat out Devlin for our 3rd string. If the jets would have signed Henne instead of Tebow, Sanchez would be sitting on the bench.

Neither of them should be that low. Henne looked good in limited play time last year, and while I don't like moore, he's not quite that horrible.

0-4

He looked good in that first game against New England
then went downhill from there

12-30 with 1td and 1 interception...2 sacks
19-29 with 1td and 1 interception...5 sacks
3-4 with 1 interception

Maybe not last but Undoubtedly not GOOD

I have never seen a bigger bunch of Homers in my life....Matt Moore is not good...Hes average.

Now that Marshall is gone you will see just how average he is.

Only a Jets fan would think that a 75.3 QB rating for Sanchez in 2010 would make him a top 10 QB. Chad Henne was rated higher, lol.

you can tell this guy didnt put much time into anything cus what he says about Fitzpatrick is crap. That dude sucked and he sucked vs. supposedly a sucky team in us.

Sanchez? OMG intercepted twice in the same game by a friggin DT!!!!!

Two of those int's were on last minute hail mary's... And the rest of our team was playing like crap thru those first few games, though people seem to like to forget that...

Moore played with the pressure of rehabilitating his career, for a demoralized winless team with fins fans in the stands actually rooting against him. He rallied the troops, got his offense engaged, didn't sit pouting on the end of the bench when he crapped the bed. Sanchez had no pressure as:
a)he knew from past screw ups that there was a good possibility his team would carry him again
b)he had an AARP backup who would never challenge or replace him
c)he was (my word) "enabled" to continue to reinforce bad habits by mgt. I've said that all along and it was confirmed by at least 2 of his most prominent skill players except they specifically used the word "coddled."

Sanchez played with less pressure than Moore, earned the well-deserved reputation around the league as being unnaturally fragile for someone who's supposed to be a team leader. The litmus test is that I doubt he could unseat the starters including Luck and RG3 on any of the 31 other teams including the Fins, which may in fact be upgrading an already superior QB who isn't fragile.

Matt Moore: Owner of the longest timed drive of all time vs. the Jets and their supposed great D.
