What an insane comment. Sanchez has never in his career had a QB rating as high as Moore. Sanchez will never be as good as Henne, and Henne isn't even close to Moore. But don't let facts get in the way of a dream.
Only a dumb ass trolling Jets fan would think that a 75.3 QB rating for Sanchez in 2010 would make him a top 10 QB. Chad Henne was rated higher, lol.
Moore played with the pressure of rehabilitating his career, for a demoralized winless team with fins fans in the stands actually rooting against him. He rallied the troops, got his offense engaged, didn't sit pouting on the end of the bench when he crapped the bed. Sanchez had no pressure as:
a)he knew from past screw ups that there was a good possibility his team would carry him again
b)he had an AARP backup who would never challenge or replace him
c)he was (my word) "enabled" to continue to reinforce bad habits by mgt. I've said that all along and it was confirmed by at least 2 of his most prominent skill players except they specifically used the word "coddled."
Sanchez played with less pressure than Moore, earned the well-deserved reputation around the league as being unnaturally fragile for someone who's supposed to be a team leader. The litmus test is that I doubt he could unseat the starters including Luck and RG3 on any of the 31 other teams including the Fins, which may in fact be upgrading an already superior QB who isn't fragile.
Matt Moore: Owner of the longest timed drive of all time vs. the Jets and their supposed great D.
I feel bad that you think a higher QB rating means a QB is better.
I feel bad that you think a lower QB rating means a QB is better.
I don't evaluate QBs based strictly on rating, those that do that do not understand how to evaluate a QB.
I don't think if it was the longest of all time against the Jets and our D was far from great last year, it actually hasn't been truly great in any of the Rex years.
moore and henna are both somewhere in the 15-25 range depending on how you feel about either, to have them 31,32 is absurd, they were both top 15 QBR wise when they played but these guys just watch ESPN constantly and make their assessments based on that it seems, I mean Eli is elite but not #1, and Rodgers gets bumped to #5 for one bad game against a tough defense? Cam Newton #7 is silly, sophomore slumps are real and his numbers will drop next year although he could potentially be top 7 eventually, not next year...also The Next Five seem really underrated to me, I'd bump peyton manning (unknown quantity at this point), vick, ryan, and newton to 11-15 with flacco, and have cutler, schaub, stafford and romo top 10 with rivers...after the top 15, the only qb's I'd rather have than moore are Luck, RGIII and Locker all 3 of which are unattainable so let's stick with moore and draft our guy to groom behind him this yr or the next
Dolphins never got the memo that u need a good qb to win anything in the nfl.
