he's an offensive lineman....they are never going to get the full credit they deserve.
notice how the defensive rookie of the year was listed behind 6 offensive skill position players....go figure.
Flacco is the one that bugs me. He didn't lose games for them, that's admirable. his rookie campaign was definately a success. but did anyone have more help? they ran the ball more than any team in the league and had a dominant defense...most QB's succeed in those circumstances. Matt Ryan had a ton of help from his running game too...but he at least provided big plays, and Atlanta had to score more points to win than the Ravens did. Flacco should have been down around #10 but he's a QB, so he gets all the credit (see the 'first rookie qb to win 2 playoff games' tag)
If I had to put those 10 in order, my list goes:
1. Chris Johnson
2. Ryan Clady
3. Matt Ryan
4. Jake Long
5. Steve Slaton
6. Jerrod Mayo
7. D.Jackson
8. Eddie Royal
9. Matt Forte
10. Joe Flacco
