Not necessarily. Baltimore play Jones as an end and they're similar players. We actually still need a true NT imo. I like Stackhouse late though over Collins at 98 if he's there
I agree. If you take a look at KG’s athletic profile and not his measurements you would absolutely see a player who can be a 3-4 end and do well there.

I was pretty shocked by that too. They must have a lot of confidence in the depth at that position in this draft.
The top OT remaining are.

Ersery
Trapilo
Grant
Belton
Williams

They better draft Ersery because I dont have a lot of faith in the rest of those players to start at LT.

I like Grant moving to OG though.

Todays picks are as important as yesterdays. No duds please these 2nd and 3rd rounders make teams and we keep missing !

If Benton falls to the 4th and we double down on OL (which I think we should do at multiple positions) I’d be ecstatic to get him there. He and Grant are early day 3 targets to me, or at the very least understandable reaches at 98.

Most of his snaps were in the B gap last year. He's really not a true nose. He's more of a large, athletic 3 tech imho
I’ve been screaming that for a couple months now. He has the athletic profile to really wreck a game as a 3-4 DE who moves inside on 4-man front passing downs.

Precisely!

Miami must Draft Dillon Gabriel before somebody else (PItt, ..) decides to "roll the dice" on him. Our true first priority (sans DT), is to stabilize our QB room so we don't end up like Nagasaki II "if" Tua gets hurt again. I think #48 is a bit too high but #98 is too low and could be easily jumped. As suggested earlier, it is time to make a deal for a 70's pick using next year's 2nd or 3rd + change; Ramsay could also be packaged. If Tua is going to be our QB long term, we must have a suitable replacement who can execute Tua's offense; we know it and so does everyone else in the league. Sitting on our hands fingers crossed until #135... Ain't gonna get it done! A 2026 2nd is a tiny price for Tua insurance and a great investment in our QB Room! Just Do It!

Another reason to trade next year's assets for this year... We will have a veteran player instead of a rookie.
I expect Pitt to trade up for Milroe today.

No thanks. We have Hills replacement already. It is Waddle, they both are best at being that motion WR. Waddle is forced to play outside (X) to much which he can struggle with the physical guys. If we get rid of Hill, Waddle takes his role and get a damn WR with some size to play outside. Plus we have Washington as well, don't need another 5'10 WR.
Agree. I'm really high on Savion Williams. Enough so that 48, or a slight trade down and I wouldn't blink. He's generally ranked top 60ish, so he won't be there at 98. A little bit like Deebo Samuel. His comp is actually Cordero (sp) Patterson.

Oronde Gadsden Jr. could work and he's probably available at 98. Maybe into the 4th even.

Not a bad idea to prepare for life after Hill, although the need for secondary help and offensive line is significant.

I’d be shocked if Houston didn’t grab an OT with their first pick today.
Totally agree and think they’d be crazy to not do that. I thought Josh Simmons would have been the pick at 25 for them.

I wish all options were there for the Dolphins at 48 though

You asked about the distraction. Being a Sanders family member is a distraction.

That wasn’t why he wasn’t drafted, but by having him on your team, you do have to factor in the outward pressure brought on by the Sanders family and the media. Deion does nothing to make it easier, and it’s deliberate and for attention. It’s not doing his son any favors, but again, it wasn’t why he wasn’t drafted yet
I believe he wasn’t drafted in the first round because there is not one attribute of his that is elite. He’s not a bad QB and I do think he can be a solid starter in the league but whether you’re looking at arm strength, mobility, accuracy or decision making none of them can be called anything greater than “above average”. He will find a home today and he will be just fine.

You know, my biggest concern/wonder is whether he’s coachable.

Having never played for anyone but his dad and clearly needing development, will he accept that? I think that’s the biggest question mark. That, and I wonder if anyone feels they got a full and honest evaluation on him

Oh, there is no way that any team who has evaluated him hasn’t had that discussion. The only way to buck that trend is for him to show it wherever and whenever he gets his chance.
