NFL Draft Day 2 best available

Yeah wonder what a 3rd in 2026/98 and maybe one of our 5th gets us up to. Just don’t want to continue the trading our 3rd cycle lol not getting a third for Wilkins really screwed us
I get that. Maybe a Ramsey/later 26 pick package to a corner needy team

If he's available (Emmanwori) at 48 you would have to strongly consider him
I would say run the card up if he's there at 48 and the "premier" CB/OGs are gone. With that said I actually like Watts better and get scared by combine warriors but Nick had 3 good seasons at USCe so I don't think he's just a combine warrior. Could he Faster Kyle Hamilton

Amos + Watts on day 2 would be a dream for Miami

Would not be opposed to OL but that can be adressed at OG in the 4t

I’m guessing Shaduer goes 33rd overall. A strong chance the Browns follow that up with a WR at 36. Houston could also be looking at WR at 35.

Titans still need a lot so they could go any which way.

Bears have to be targeting Mike Green or Donovan Ezeiruaka at 39, and a strong possibility they take an OL or RB at 41. Luther Burden could be a possibility there.

He's certainly versatile enough to play DT/NT and DE in a 3/4 defense. I truly feel he's an excellent replacement for Campbell. The versatility is very appealing.

Assuming my boy Jonah won't make it to 48, Collins would be a great pick IMO. Absolutely double dip and just nail down that D line

WITH........ The expectation Miami is trading up from 98 OR 115 TO bring the Mullet...errff. Ratledge to Miami.

If there's no intention to trade up, without a doubt, no questions asked, whether a reach or not... 48 has to be O line. If not Eichenberg is our starter.

What if those ā€œDolphins looking at day 2 QB’sā€ rumors are true? šŸ˜‚
Precisely!

Miami must Draft Dillon Gabriel before somebody else (PItt, ..) decides to "roll the dice" on him. Our true first priority (sans DT), is to stabilize our QB room so we don't end up like Nagasaki II "if" Tua gets hurt again. I think #48 is a bit too high but #98 is too low and could be easily jumped. As suggested earlier, it is time to make a deal for a 70's pick using next year's 2nd or 3rd + change; Ramsay could also be packaged. If Tua is going to be our QB long term, we must have a suitable replacement who can execute Tua's offense; we know it and so does everyone else in the league. Sitting on our hands fingers crossed until #135... Ain't gonna get it done! A 2026 2nd is a tiny price for Tua insurance and a great investment in our QB Room! Just Do It!

Another reason to trade next year's assets for this year... We will have a veteran player instead of a rookie.

I’m on the fence digging deeper currently trying to convince myself lol had him more early 3rd value. Mid 2nd may be rich but it is a need. Thing that’s killing me is there’s a lot of talent that I didn’t think would be there. Have to see who’s available just don’t want to be in a situation with say like will johnson or Emmanwori, guys expected to be top 20 guys available at 48 and have to reach for a need.

Yup.

This is the dilemma I was talking about. By passing on O line at 13, there will be excellent talent left on the board at 48. If Miami were to draft Collins/Watts/Schwessinger/Amos I could understand why over O line. I mean the talent justified it.

I love the Grant pick, especially with Booker also taken, I feel the better value at that time was defense.

But this now puts Miami in a position to have to take a G, over a player who is overall a better prospect. Unless Jonah makes it to 48.

It's a shame we can't draft a new owner. Not sure there is going to be any hope until that Bozo Ross is gone. Blame who you want when things go bad but since this dude took over it's been ugly and he is the one and only common denominator.
