Posted this in the scout thread, did anyone watch tape on Slater and if so any thoughts on he projects to us?

Give me a 2nd or 3rd and another late rounder and I’ll pack his bags for him. Most likely to be traded on draft night article.

And this why I want to trade down and grab an extra late 2nd/early 3rd, so we can get our G DT and S before the premium talents get picked off. Trade down to get 18 and 52 for 13, draft Donovan Jackson/Grey Zabel, then Darius Alexander/Alfred Collin’s etc at 48 and use 52 to grab Watts, he’s gonna be a future pro bowler imo.

Can't see Seattle moving up, they need interior OL as badly as the Dolphins do.

Yea the theory would be them moving up to grab the best remaining interior Ol like Banks or Booker for their scheme. So it’s a matter of how the board plays out and if they are more desperate than us.
 
I’m not understanding the “let’s wait for defensive tackle because there’s so many of them” argument. Let’s get the best one. if that means picking one at 13 then so be it. Why wait until the later rounds because there’s lots of them? If the one at 13 is going to be better than the one at 48, get him.

We also need OL just as badly so you can ask the same question, should we wait on picking one till 48 or grab the best one at 13?

I can get behind this line of thinking
 
I would 100% draft Walter Nolen over Kenneth Grant and Derrick Harmon, and I’m someone who likes all 3 players. It’s not even a question for me. Nolen is easily #1 out of that group.

Again, I would be happy with any of the 3. I just see a higher ceiling in Nolen and when you watch all 3 players he pops the most. He has immediate 3 down ability and has the pass rush traits to become an All Pro.

I really like Grant but I don’t see the effort on every down with him. If you can get consistent effort out of him on every snap then he can be dominant.
