As first Deone Walker, his problem is his pad levels being too high. He still has not learned to lower it. He proved during senior bowl practices, he's as strong as an Ox . That's not his problem. It's technique.

Hard to get 6 foot 7 to drop its pad level.

Oh I know. He’s got some ballerina feet too for his size. First thing s clean up that conditioning which should help him play not so high. When he tires he basically stands straight up.

And I think Jaylen wright can be an Aaron jones if Mcd ever gets over his overuse of Achane.

I’ll take y’all’s word for that I’m not looking at RBs at all.

We got much bigger fish to fry. Obviously I’d like to add something with size but as much as Mcd likes Achane taking 25 touches a game it probably won’t play much as a rookie.

I agree. But based off of what I've learned about the RB class and Miami's interest. It almost a given they are going to take a bigger RB. The kind that can grind out yards after contact. A player who can get that one yard on third or fourth down.

5th round would be fine, depending which rb is stillon the board and the talent s withtill available ata few other positions. If they bypass the running back position in rounds 1-5, I would be ok Achane, Wright, Gus Edwards (if he can be signed on a good deal) and Mattison. Maybe have a 7th rounder or udfa in camp to compete with Mattison. Phil Mafah might be worth a look in round 7 as a big back developmental prospect.

I'd wait a little bit longer. Just to see what transpires on draft day. I still believe there is some trade magic or another rabbit in Grier's trade hat. If there was ever a draft to trade down multiple times due to the depth at need positions, this would be the one. This Dline and RB group is so deep, teams will be finding serviceable players in UDFA.

He went from a potential top 20 pick for me pre season to day 3 also.

It’s cooked cause I can’t compete at qb status quo with Buffalo. What luck to go from Tom Brady to freakin robo cop Josh Allen in our division.

Only way that changes is a more dynamic add there. Odds are slim to nil we even attempt it.
