Barton was kinda like Zabel in this class. I pegged Barton right as a center ideal that could also be zabels best position but zabel is an elite athlete.
No reason if folks loved Barton they wouldn’t love zabel in my book.

Sheduer sucks. Who wants to draft a qb with average upside?
Dumb. Not in my division I can tell ya that.
So what if he’s the next geno smith or something. I’m not winning squat with that.

Yeah maybe but I don’t think it would have been ideal. If it was guard I’d have put him at left I’m pretty sure.
Just think he’s playing his best position with where he was drafted.
There is going to be a lot of first round reaches this year between questionable QB's and OLinemen.
Which is why you do not wait till 48 for O line.
People think Banks may be a reach at 13?
Imagine having to reach for Wilson or some linemen like that at 48

Tua is Drew Brees in comparison to Milroe. Milroe should try out for the US Flag Football Team for the Olympics if he wants to play QB in the year 2028, because it won’t be the NFL.

Yeah he’s drew Brees alright. Anthony Richardson was drafted top 5 because of the tools you probably said he wouldn’t be drafted there too.
I’m used to it.

I don’t care where these guys get drafted. I care if they develop into quality players, and I would have never drafted Richardson anywhere near where he was drafted.
Milroe is a horrific passer. Richardson is on the path to flaming out, and he is better than Milroe.

All good. I’ll disagree with anyone on this site who says this isn’t something you can work with. I realize it’s just one game but it’s nfl speed and physicality level comp and he’s doing damage in both phases. Maybe leaves the pocket a little too early at times but at 4.4 flat no one is gonna take issue with that.

Wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t include these and my biggest take away here is that he needs to play with more eye discipline. He’s eye banging things and guys are running to his eyes and undercutting them. A few suspect decisions too but eye discipline first.
I will say my experience is that’s hard to teach in duel threat types who have a bit of a run first mentality. Best way to limit that is to maintain the sticks and teams can’t sit on his eyes/play robber coverages etc. as much.
Also run first mentality guys take a decent number of sacks in the process cause they always tbink their legs can get em out of jail.
