This is true.

The concern, I think could be that this loaded DT class is suddenly plagued by injuries or potential character issues.

When you have Harmon sliding got unknown injury concerns, Nolen potential off field concerns and Alfred Collins walking around in a walking boot ( may have his injury wrong) this loaded DT class may have just turned less appealing.

So now guys like Graham, Grant and Alexander are suddenly in higher demand with no off field or injury concerns.

This is my concern. Miami may pass on the obvious and safe pick or fix for the O line and try to get cute with this diamond in the ruff, sleeper pick and hope for the best.

Just take the top guy and no need to worry.

It's also the reason I hesitate to not take O line at 13. Every single time I do mock draft and take a defensive player at 13 (Campbell/Grant). I do it expecting to draft O line at 48. But guess what. Suddenly Grant or Watts or Schwessinger is there at 48 and the best option left at O line is Milum.

Even GRYPHONK finds it hard to take Milum and I usually don't over Grant/Watts or Schwessinger.

Then I run into the same problem at 98. Suddenly Lott/Mukuba/Or Collins is there and I am like Damn... Should have taken Banks when I had the chance because too many good options at defense to pass up at 48 and 98.

Of course it's mocks, but I see that being a problem and I would never fault Grier for taken Watts or Grant over Milum or Ratledge or taking Lott/Mukuba over Wilson or Fairchild.

Defensive players will drop. It's inevitable. Luke last year when great O line options dropped. So you take advantage advantage of it by taking an O line at 13 who is worth the pick then take the value at 48 and 98.

Unless...... Graham falls to 13 lol

If it’s true that Graham is gonna go outside the top 10 now I think that’s his actual value coming back to level. There’s nothing about him as a player that screams top 5 or top 10 in a better classical. My expectations would be high for him to produce as a pass rusher if he’s the pick at 13.

Hmm…sounds like picking the safer Christian Wilkins over his more gifted teammate, Dexter Lawrence. Lawrence was the better pick in hindsight.

I said that earlier today w/ some other folks he’s a wilkins clone. Which I’m not paying a wilkins type 28mil or whatever he got. That’s why for me the pass rush expectations would be high out the gate bc come that 2nd contract another 3-6 sack 3 tech isn’t worth the investment to me. I think wilkins peaked at 9 or something one year.
 
I’m definitely not moving up for Christian Wilkins I know that much lol

Havent really paid much attention to mason graham figured he’d be long gone by the time our pick came up.

And even that year he finished mostly on guys who were moved off the spot or flushed by others.
