Two terrible plays by the qbs. The first he’s sitting underneath of the whole time. The second I have no idea what cam Ward is tbinking there lol.

No but Matt miller should post video that shows the cb making plays that aren’t just cause of bad decisions by the qb.

I mean the technique on both the press and the staying in the hip of the wr looks good same for the off drop fluidity on the second play.

I wouldn’t never move up in the first round unless it was for a QB or I was one of those teams at the bottom of the draft and have a loaded team and don’t have many roster spots open to begin with. Miami isn’t one player away from being a contender and they aren’t moving up for a QB this year. No way do I want them to move up especially for a DT in a loaded DT class.

We are talking about a 3rd here if you’re moving up for a qb it’s usually multiple 1st.

Yes it’s a DT heavy draft but all the more reason to take the guy at the top in a tier by himself.

The concern, I think could be that this loaded DT class is suddenly plagued by injuries or potential character issues.

When you have Harmon sliding got unknown injury concerns, Nolen potential off field concerns and Alfred Collins walking around in a walking boot ( may have his injury wrong) this loaded DT class may have just turned less appealing.

So now guys like Graham, Grant and Alexander are suddenly in higher demand with no off field or injury concerns.

Wouldn’t even include Alexander, he’s 25 meaning he’s a 1 contract player if not you’re in the same boat now as giving an aging near 30 year old a big contract assuming it pans out. I think everyone’s too caught up on needing 5 starters or whatever.

Do we need them? Yes. Is it plausible or likely? Absolutely not.

You get the stand alone tier a guy in Graham at DT, use second on a starting guard. I think you’re able to fill a safety spot later as well a rotational piece later at DT. Add a power back and in line blocker at tight end around the 5-7 and I think that’s a very good start to rebuilding the team and a successful draft with 3 starters and 3 role players. Can use the rest to trade up for guys you love or take a chance on some developmental players on oline, maybe a bigger edge as well as corner and safety.

If it’s true that Graham is gonna go outside the top 10 now I think that’s his actual value coming back to level. There’s nothing about him as a player that screams top 5 or top 10 in a better classical. My expectations would be high for him to produce as a pass rusher if he’s the pick at 13.

I love Graham (as a Michigan fan), but I really think the only reason he is top 5 or top 10 is this is just not a great draft at the top. Normally ya I would say he is not a top 10 DT, this draft who knows. Graham may go that high because his floor is so good, but he lacks elite size/athleticism. I like the Wilkins comparison. He is a 100% compete guy who teammates will love and will be an excellent player. He just lacks the pure upside as a pass rusher.

I do like mason graham his hand use is excellent as is his awareness and motor. He’s polished. My one gripe would be could finish on the qb more. He wins a lot but I don’t see that extra gear to finish consistently. The motor the awareness the arm use top shelf.

Would have liked to see a 10 yard split time here.

I think he’s more polished than Christian Wilkins was coming out. Especially with the hand use and the awareness but I can understand the comp.

Wilkins basically took 2 to 3 years to be more than a pile on production guy. To the point the staff challenged him to have to give them more. I don’t see that with mason graham.

Havent really paid much attention to mason graham figured he’d be long gone by the time our pick came up.

I just don't see anyone in this draft were I say wow now that's a kid I would like to go trade up and get. I think more teams will look to trade down not up.

If Graham fell to 13, then sure take him. He is high floor guy but high end is more great/pro bowl guy but not a elite all pro type.

Yeah I don’t expect to see much trading up either. Down maybe. More likely folks gonna have to pick.

Watched every game for Graham as a Michigan fan. He just doesn't have that second gear to close the gap to the QB after he beats his block, which gives the QB enough time to get rid of the ball. He is great at shedding blocks and making plays vs the run and he will disrupt QBs timing and not allow him to set up in the pocket all day but won't rack up sacks loke a Darnold/Jones type.

I wouldn’t care what the cost was for moving up for a QB if I needed one because no other position can change the fortunes of a franchise faster than a QB can. There isn’t a DT on the planet that will move the needle enough for this franchise to piss away draft assets on. The Dolphins need an infusion of young players on rookie contracts all over the roster. Mason Graham isn’t magically going to make Miami a winning franchise. If he falls into their lap fine, but moving up to take him would be stupid in my opinion.
