Watched every game for Graham as a Michigan fan. He just doesn't have that second gear to close the gap to the QB after he beats his block, which gives the QB enough time to get rid of the ball. He is great at shedding blocks and making plays vs the run and he will disrupt QBs timing and not allow him to set up in the pocket all day but won't rack up sacks loke a Darnold/Jones type.

Well said off what I see. With that hand use and awareness though and that motor if he did have that second gear he’d be absolute murder.

I wouldn’t care what the cost was for moving up for a QB if I needed one because no other position can change the fortunes of a franchise faster than a QB can. There isn’t a DT on the planet that will move the needle enough for this franchise to piss away draft assets on. The Dolphins need an infusion of young players on rookie contracts all over the roster. Mason Graham isn’t magically going to make Miami a winning franchise. If falls into their lap fine, but moving up to take him would be stupid in my opinion.

That’s why I said Griers up **** creek with no paddle. Short of tua taking it to an entirely nother level he’s sol.

And at this point I’ve given up hope that Tua can do that.

Wrong class to have your job on the line. Can’t stop saying it enough.

I’d add on graham that because he lacks that second gear it takes him a little longer to get to things in space. Despite that elite awareness and effort/motor.
