NFL Live Says Sheppard is on the block, does MIA want him?

Lito Sheppard?

With the Dolphins need at corner, it would be interesting to see if they tried to pull off a trade for Lito Sheppard, who is unhappy with his contract in Philadelphia and has been told by the team to seek a trade. Sheppard when healthy has been very solid for the Eagles, but had a somewhat down year last year. Depending on how much we had to give up, and i dont think it would be THAT much, i think i'd take a look at him.
 
def go for lito... he was one of the few cbs to shut down moss this year
 
in a trade nothing more than a day 2 pick

if he gets cut nothing more than 5 mil/a year
 
I would love it if the dolphins would at least think about it i dont know what we would give them as long as we dont give up alot i am ok with getting him

Hamlin would be a Great pick up for us having him Jason Allen/ or Y. Bell as our Safteys that would be awsome
 
Sheppard's height has always been a concern for me. He is only 5"10 or something, and in this division with Randy Moss looming that could hurt us, although he guarded him well this year.

Also he's been somewhat injury prone in his career.
 
Lito is a good, young corner. And he is coming from Philly who is known for great CBs.

I hope we get him WHEN healthy he is a Great Corner and we havnt had any one better then Will Allen in a long time (well it seems like a long time)
 
I would be a fan of this trade, again depending on what they would seek in compensation. i'm wondering if we could swing some sort of deal involving JT with philly. I see philly as a possible contender with a few correct moves, and they could use someone across from Trent Cole (who is a beast). I think philly runs the 4-3 though (correct me if i'm wrong there) so I'm not sure if/how JT would fit in-- i'm not saying we'd do JT for Lito straight up, but using him could allow us to keep valuable draft picks (plus we wouldn't have to face JT for another 3-4 years most likely.. so.. maybe not ever, which would be nice)

no i dont think we would do JT for Lito Striaight i dont think i would like that Trade to much

nor would I. It all depends on what other teams are valuing JT at though. Obviously we as fin fans probably think he's worth more than he is, but I think we could probably get another pick along with Lito for him, what with lito's injury concerns and all
