NFL Network Analysts weigh in on Tannehill

I have seen Tannehill ranked anywhere from 13th to 26th in the NFL, among QB's. think this will be Tanny's breakout year. Our O-line is new but I think we have upgraded with Albert, James, Smith and a few others. If Tannehill can cut his sacks in half, and we can run about 10-15 more plays in Lazor's offense, we should put up way more yards and points. It's the first time in years I am excited to see what we can do. I think Wallace, Hartline and Landry will also have breakout seasons.

One thing for sure, this off-season has been all about getting Ryan Tannehill some help. This front office obviously believes in him
Could be. But I think they want to get the best team in place as they can anyway, because it helps to more fairly evaluate Tannehill. If he struggles, at least they have a better team in place for the next guy. In this offense that I think will maximize his strengths and cover his weaknesses better than Sherman's did, Tannehill needs to crack the top 10 QB's IMO. He will probably not be elite (that's what I think anyway), but if he can be reliable / consistent, then they may stick with him next year. There could be many scenarios based on how he does...they may draft somebody high if he does not show progress, they could draft a guy in the later rounds to develop, who knows? Hopefully Tannehill removes all doubt though.
I think they believe in him enough to only grab an undrafted Brock Jensen and give Tannehill another year. That move, or lack of a move says a lot. However, it becomes very easy to dump Tannehill after this year if he does not show. So next year's off season moves will say even more IMO.
