I believe that is part of the reason why Saban has 22 coaches on his staff.

Yep. He likes to hire older, experienced coaches and give them the spot but then hire a young guy and have them shadow that position coach. Not many teams do this because no owner wants to pay that many coaches. Miami is lucky in this respect.

Whats funny is that the Steelers werent expected to make the playoffs last year and they went 6-10 the year prior. 15-1 last year. I mean obviously thats not going to happen for us but i think 10-6 or 9-7 is real.

Yeah it's a change, and not a good one. We need every media source around to say how terrible we are gonna be. Nothing gets players more juiced, and builds more team chemistry, than to think it's them against the whole world.
On the other hand, if they start telling us how we have already turned it all around, then there is less motivation to prove everyone wrong.
I liked it a LOT better when we were supposed to be 4-12. I think they are just saying this to mess us up even more. I guess it's true, they really do hate us

Adam Shefner (sp?) on NFL Total Access on the NFL Network just talked about Saban and the Dolphins. He said after seeing whats going on down here in Miami, that there is no doubt in his mind that we will win atleast 9 games this season...

9-7 was my prediction for this year. Sounds about right.

I think 9-7 is a good prediction. In fact, I'll say it's probably accurate. Saban has already stated that it looks like the team is running in sand which only tells me that he expects a lot more out of these guys than had expected which is a good sign. We improved a lot more than has been talked about. Having two potential 1000 yard rushers can do a lot for a team.

Maybe not this season, but look for next season to be in contention
