So I was all excited to watch the fins play the jags on monday night and I was proud that I didn't look online or watch the news and right in the beginning of the 1st quarter they showed the scores of the giants vs panthers game then the dolphins jags game across the bottom of the screen!! So basically there is no point is waiting to watch because nfl network will ruin it and show the final score of the game your watching all throughout the game
 
Yeah its stupid but you just have to try to discipline yourself not to look down at the pretty flashy graphics moving through your screen lol.
 
You can't miss it when you have a 52" flat screen. Trust me. Its ridiculous. Might as well just log onto to nfl.com and follow the score there. Makes no sense to wait when they show the freakin score all throughout the damn game!
 
i watched the game live then watched it again...

how does knowing the score of a preseason game make it not worth watching... its all about seein our guys out there...
 
lol ductape!! I dont know, I have a 50 inch and I can usually stay away from the bottom if I try. Its normally a habit so I can see how its a pain in the *** but at the same time you have to control the erge to look.
 
I used to tape paper over it. Unfortunately my cable provider doesn't have NFL network so its all moot.
 
there MUST be an efficient, harmless way of blocking where the score pops up, if it bothers you that much. figure it out.
 
Dude its totally worth watching regardless. My point, however, was that it sucks when you make a conscience decision to not find out the score to save the excitement to then have the score flashed right before your eyes when you are finally watching the game..
 
you didn't know they we're gonna show the scores?
that's why the ticker is there buddy. At least now you know.

Yes sir! Its a shame that they do that but I'm used to it and I already know to cover up the bottom of the screen. I guess they figure we already know the score or they just don't care.:crazy:
 
most flat screen TVs have a zoom feature, just use the zoom feature to zoom in on the screen and then the scores at the bottom will not even show up
