Deebo Samuel to the Commanders for a fifth rounder. Very solid addition for Washington. I’m guessing they’ll have to give DS a bump on his pay.

Funny little dig at Brady in the last paragraph.

I do wonder where these veteran QBs end up. I’m betting Darnold and Wilson return to their teams, Rodgers to the Giants and Cousins gets traded to the Raiders.

Fields hmmmm. Jets?

Personally I’d like to see the Giants trade out of the top 3 and acquire future assets. They need to look at 2026 for their future QB.

Well that's because they signed their contracts years ago and Mahomes signed a 10 year deal. At the time of signing Allen was taking up more of the salary cap as a percentage than everyone and only Burrow has surpassed him since. I'm expecting Allen to want a new contract soon.

This is also just listing the yearly value of the contracts without taking into account how much was fully guaranteed and not the cap hits this year. A quick check tells me that Tua is $39M, Lamar is $43M, Hurts is only $21M, Lawrence is only $17M, Murray is $43M, Allen is $44M, Burrow $46M, and Mahomes is $66M. Dak is a mental $89M 😲

Basically it's a garbage tweet.

edit: Checked the replies and someone had already done the work for me.

Hurts only 21 million.

The Eagles cap manipulation is something else.

It's ridiculous. They have $240M cap liability in 2029, that's 5 seasons away.

I'm curious to how far out they have pushed the new Saquon deal to. They might have $270M liabilities in 2029 now.

Now we know why he played like crap when he played. Lots on his mind.
