NFL Sunday Ticket Question

We have had some problems getting some games. Like Oakland gamesNYG and others. Like I am supposed to hop on a plane and support the freakin Raiders. Black outs are BS. The ticket is "THE TICKET" give me what we pay for. All the games. Now they are charging more for High Def. what a joke. Anybody con em down on that!

Actually right now, if you sign up for new service (the $90 or so package) you get that package for free for 4 months and you get NFL sunday ticket. At least that's the deal I am getting. No year contract or anything. So basically I will get practically every channel they offer plus Sunday ticket for $80 a month for the next 4 months. Mine gets hooked up Tuesday (Hurricane permitting)

Here's a picture of the screen for those who PM'd me. Like I said you really can't tell from the picture but the actual picture is almost like being on the field.

Sucks to live in a blackout area, fortunately I live half way between buffalo and NYC so none of our games get blacked out , the only time we dont see a game on DTV is when its televised locally and then you just watch it on CBS/FOX antenna which come in very clear here.

I have been a Direct TV Sunday ticket holder for at least 6 years. I am going to make the call tomorrow to the customer retention center to see if I can get the HDTivo for $299.

I am not anywhere near a blackout area. I live over 1000 miles from oak and 1400 from NYC. I can not figure it out. What a crock. Are you sure you get every single game. Not that the Oak and Gnts games are all that important but I swear if they ever black out a Fins game at over 1500 miles away I will go postal on them!

If you get the Sunday ticket, there may be still some games that get "blacked out" due to local and regional rights. It may be a game aired on ESPN or a local channel. Usually that is not a problem because most people can get these games on a local channel or have ESPN with their basic programming.

Had DTV and the Ticket since 1994. The system was 899.00 then. The ticket to watch the phins was the main reason I bought it. 11 years later. STILL WORTH IT!

I did this yesterday. The guy wasn't happy about giving me the deal, but he said he had to because the deal got leaked out. He quoted me $649 at first, then told him that I heard people were getting it for $299 with the $100 mail-in rebate. He was like, well........I have to give you that deal then.

I am way excited about it! Directv HD DVR for $199! Can't beat that!

Will they bill your account or do you have to pay up front?
